Live Like You Mean it Blog Candy

Edited to add: Today's winner for the Stars stamp set is The Paper Princess. Today's blog candy is this cool stamp set called Live Like You Mean it. Leave a comment on this post and I will select a winner next Friday!

Today's card is a fun card that I cased. I think that it was a Papertrey Ink sample that I then used SU supplies to duplicate. The dp is Parisian Breeze with chocolate satin ribbon. The stars are punched out with SU star punches and brads so easy!
No crazy plans this weekend, except laundry and spring cleaning and the gym! Probably try and take the babies out for some running out! Enjoy your weekend.

Ladybug notes...

Don't forget blog candy here. Today's card uses some products that I haven't used in awhile. The dp is Basic Grey and the stamp set is Darling Dots. First time I've used it and it's so cute! I stamped the ladybug in red and then went over the spots with a black marker and if you couldn't tell, I handdrew the dotted path. The red satin ribbon is from the current SU mini and it's such pretty ribbon, really easy to work with too.

I meant to post last night but Lily's new bed arrived! She has a very cute big girl Disney Princess toddler bed. She was so excited and kept saying "my new bed, my new bed". She did fall out of it twice so we did not have restful sleep. Don't worry, we have big pillows on the floor next to her bed so she has a soft fall, it just scared her. I also joined a women's gym too so I have been busy! Plus they are working on our parking lot at work so we had to park out by the baseball field. Does that sound as far away from where we work as it actually is? So I'm beat just walking to my car! Sad, but true.

have a good day everyone.

Spring is here

Don't forget blog candy can be found here. This card is another spring cleaning card and uses this life stamp set. This is the first time I have inked up this stamp set. The flowers are stamped in white on the colored cardstock. I used a strip of cottage dp from SU and placed a white panel with the sentiment stamped on it, tied off with white ribbon, a very simple card.

Yesterday, we went to the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at UCLA. It was a lot of fun and an absolutely perfect day. On the way home, my mom called and asked if Tyler wanted to go to Disneyland with her. So lucky guy, he went straight from the Festival to Disneyland. He has the life I tell you. Today was spent running a few errands. There is this fabulous Italian market near us so I picked up some pizza fixings (dough, sauce, pepperoni) for dinner tonight and some yummy bread and rolls and deli meat and cheese. They also had some roasted garlic which I picked up. It is so yummy on toasted bread with a little grated parmesan on top, yum!

I hope that everyone has lovely spring weather and can get out and play! Talk you later.

Blog Candy Whimsy

Last week's winner is Gayle! Please email me with your snail mail. Thanks so much everyone for playing.
This week's giveaway is this fun star stamp set. Just leave a comment on this post to enter the drawing. I will select a winner next Friday.
Today's card uses Birthday Whimsy, balloons and retired SU dp. I think it came out very cute! It's been a long week at work and I can't wait until the weekend. We are planning to go to the Festival of Books at UCLA on Saturday, if it doesn't rain. We've been having crazy weather here in So. Cal.
Any ideas on how to discipline a very naughty and unruly 3 1/2 year old, I would love to hear it. We are experiencing defiance and some name calling, especially at school. Two days in a row, I had to talk to his teacher, not fun I tell you!

Whimsy Birthday!

Today's card uses all kinds of products that I have forgotten that I had. The dp is retired SU from a couple of years ago and the birthday cake is from SU's Whimsy Birthday. I colored in the cake using copics and it's all mounted on kraft cardstock. Simple card but I like how it came out.

I don't know what's up with our weather - it's cold, then hot, then cold, then it rains, then it's hot and then it's supposed to rain again this week. No wonder I feel so lethargic! I am making some great progress on my family album. I'm now up to May 2009 so I'm really getting there. I hope that you guys find time to do some craftin.

Eggcellent Blog Candy

So here is another one of my spring cleaning cards. it was supposed to be filed with hearts but I made a booboo and stamped the eggs, so I made it into a "love"ly Easter card instead. I used Loads of Love and Bella Rose dp. I have been doing a lot of scrapbooking! Sometime soon, I hope to share some of my scrapbooking pages with you all. My pages tend to have lots of pictures and be very organized and straightforward. I am not one for artsy layouts with one pic.

Yesterday was spent shopping! We went to the big swapmeet and then to the Outlets. A fun if not exhausting day. We found time to visit with my niece. Poor little thing was crying for her Ty Ty and Lily all day. She doesn't go to daycare so the only playmates she has are more little guys. She really missed them, even though she saw them on Thursday! Today, was spent doing laundry, getting caught up on work - I have a report that I need to write and getting ready for the week! I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend!

Don't forget, I have some really fabulous blog candy here!

Loads of love

In this card I used Loads of Love again, this time with hearts and this pretty retired SU dp. I was also able to use my sale-a-bration ribbon. I sponged a hill. I really like how it came out.

I hope that everyone's week is going well. Don't forget blog candy here.

Surf's Up

Today's card uses a stamp set that I confess I have only used a handful of times - Loads of Love. I added a surfboard from Surf's Up in the back and used DP from I think the SU DP Alpine - it was a Christmas collection but seemed to go well with this stamp. I made it into a Father's Day card for my dad.

Yesterday I had dinner with friends. A nice conclusion to a wonderful week off. Today is my first day back to work. Here's to a quick week to the weekend.

Sweet Treats

Today's card uses SU stamp set called Sweet Treats. This is the first time that I've used this stamp set. I colored in with copics and used this glitter paper that I had in my stash.

I'll be leaving soon for a massage. I'm going to the spa today with my sister, then lunch and maybe some shopping. It's nice to be a lady of leisure but I only have a couple of days left before my vacation is over. I have gotten so much scrapbooking done. I finished Lily's baby book, finally! I finished albums up through December 2008. So I'm still a bit more behind that I would like to be but I'm really moving along so that feels really good!

Don't forget blog candy below and try to do some stamping today!!!!

Our House

Today's card uses this CTMH Our House stamp set. I only used it one other time so it was fun to bring it out to make a house warming card. I created a scene using the stamp parts that came with the set. The dp is from SU.

I will be spending the morning babysitting my 16 month old niece Kayla! I spent today running errands and doing some scrapbooking. I hope that you all have a great week...Don't forget blog candy below.

Happy Anniversary & Blog Candy

Happy Easter! I hope that everyone had a nice day with family!

Last week's winner is Winnieand Patty! Please email me with your snail mail and I will get your prize to you. Next week is spring break and I hope to get caught up with all of my candy and RAK mailings, do some scrapbooking and maybe get a massage. Today's card is in celebration of my 5th wedding anniversary which was Friday! A cute card using an old SU stamp set called Olive you. I used riding hood red cardstock and bella rose dp I think that it's so pretty. My husband is secure in himself and doesn't mind when I give him pretty cards with ribbon.

Today's giveaway is this DOTS (CTMH) stamp set. To win just leave a comment on this post and I will select a winner next Friday.

For our anniversary we went to dinner at Roy's Hawaiian and to the movies, very cool theater that serves alcohol, no one under 21 allowed and leather seats! I don't think that I will see a movie any other way again!

I will leave you all with a very cute picture of my little guys getting ready to play in the snow!
