Today, starts another challenge at PDE Linky Party.
My card today was inspired by a card that I saw on Nichol Majouirk's blog.
I really love her style. Instead of just looking at blogs all day, I should do more of caseing and using ideas that I see because I think that's sort of the point!
Anyway, here is my card for the challenge and I hope that you will all join in the challenge.
I used my hearts cuttlebug folder and cut my sentiment out using my Cricut. I think the Art Philosophy cartridge. The cute hedgehogs were colored in with copics.
I have two posts today! So be sure to check them both out. This is just a quick post because I wanted to join in the Greeting Farm challenge to use pink. Here is my project:
I used some scrap paper and some roses from my stash. I also used copic markers and did some paper piecing for her outfit. Basketball just ended but we are gearing up for the baseball season and we have a little breather from dance competitions but there is no rest for the weary in this house. Thanks for visiting. Pin It Now!
My card today can be used for many occasions. I used it as a Valentine's Day card but really it was also a friend card too. I am very lucky to work with some really super fabulous people who are not just co-workers but I consider close friends and so I gave a couple of those friends a special card and a dark chocolate Godiva bar. Yum! This care I just love. It is a case of a card I saw by Nicole Majourik.
The stamps are from Mama Elephant, except for the skyscape which is from Paper Smooches. It's also a shaker card. Be sure to watch the video for the how to and also to see the shaker in action.
I have a card that I created for The Greeting Farm Fresh Friday Challenge. This is my first time joining in this challenge but I just got the new Amor Anya stamp set and wanted to ink it up.
The paper is from Lawn Fawn, trying to use up that paper pad and I am so close! I used my copics to color her in and of course my stickles and some gel pen action on her dress. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom and the doily was cut from a Spellbinders die. The pink flowers are from Michaels and the white flower is a Prima flower.
I had a super busy weekend. My daughter had a dance competition and my boy had basketball and baseball practice and a basketball game. I was lucky to spend Valentine's Day with the loves of my life, my sweet children. The children went to their father's for President's Day and I got to spend the day crafting. The first time in I can't remember how long so there will be some new projects coming soon and videos too.
After I got my digital image, I completely forgot about the challenge to use red so I had to add some red sequins to make sure that I met the challenge, even though there is red also in the patterned paper.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time. I also used my copics, stickles and Wink of Stella. The paper pad is Doodlebug from last year. I also can't forget my sequins which is a combination of sequins from my stash and from Pretty Pink Posh.
I hope that you all have time to join in the challenge.
Today's card is another shaker card. I consider it part of my shaker card series, even though there is no video for it as it was one of the first ones that I made, kind of trying out different methods. I used the exclusive stampember Simon Says Lawn Fawn set and Pretty Pink Posh sequins.
This was another Dance Competition weekend, the last for a little while. Thank goodness I have Monday off for President's Day!
Anyway, on to the card!
Aren't those little birds the cutest? I thought that it would make a cute Valentine for one of my co-workers.
Today, I have the Valentine that I made for my boy. It's red but I did use a robot stamp from My Creative Time so it would be a little boyish and I made a shaker card. I think he will like it. He is so sweet and likes all of the cards that I make!
I also made a video for you, part of my shaker series. Be sure to watch it to see the shake!
I am doing a subscription box Sunday today and I am so behind on posting these. That today, you get a two for one. I am posting my January 2015 Ipsy and January 2015 Boxycharm reviews and unboxing. I hope that you like them.
Today's project is a super card using one of my favorite cartridges Teddy Bear Parade. I used Christmas paper for this too and this is one of the last projects I made before putting my Christmas paper away once and for all.
Be sure to watch the video to get the recipe and see hot it all gets put together.
