Heart Candy is Back!

Heart Candy is back. This week's heart candy is a CTMH acrylix stamp set called Simple Stitches.

To win is simple. What's your New Year's Resolution? It doesn't have to be anything serious, it could be a crafting resolution. Mine is to finish my baby's one year album once and for all and to use up the paper I have (or at least some of it!) before buying more! Just leave your comment here by midnight Tuesday and I will use random.org to pick a winner on Wednesday, January 9.

  1. Cindy, my resolution is to finish up the unfinished projects from last year - the scarves half knit, the scrapbooks for the grandkids, etc. I also want to try new things - push that creative envelope! Thanks, Chris

  20. My New Years resolution is to set aside at least 1 or 2 days a week to do some scrapbook pages, I've been lacking in that department since I started stamping 7 months ago. I need to work on my daughter's engagement book, which will be everyting leading up to the wedding. I want to give this book to her the morning of her wedding in July. So I need to get my butt in gear!

  23. I want to get more scrapping done. I used to be alot more productive in that area until I discovered the wonderful art of stamping. I still scrap, it's my first love, but cardmaking (stamping) is closer to instant gratification... LOL....
Anyway I admire your resolution to use your existing paper before purchasing more...you must be very determined and have a wonderfully STRONG will, I know I would fail miserably at that one!!! LOL

Happy New Year to you and your family!

  27. I don't generally like making a resolution because I have never been serious about them and forget about them soon after. But I do like your idea to use up my paper before buying more. I could really benefit from this one as I have a hard time resisting all the pretty papers they come out with & it is not only costly, but I'm running out of room to store it:)

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm only making resolutions that I can keep this year. Like make a scrapbook for DH. Finish 50 thanks you cards for sisters wedding. Things like that.
I hope to lose a few pounds, but I'm not trying all that hard. I'm hoping to just let it happen.

  35. Well, I have 2 main resolutions this year: 1. Do more stamping - I'm going to try and stamp at least one thing a week. This would be a great improvement over the last 2 years as I only stamped a couple of times last year. 2. Exercise 30 minutes a day at least 5 times a week. I've given up on the losing weight one, but maybe this will accomplish 2 things!

  36. I hadn't thought of this as a real resolution but I am planning to do more scrapbooking this year and after a tip from a blogging pal I intend to make 10 xmas cards each month so that next xmas I will be all done by early December! this is a challenge on SCS!
