Early Heart Candy and Happy Leap Year!


Oddly enough, I actually know someone who has a birthday on February 29! My uncle! My parents just left to go to Vegas to visit him and celebrate his 64th (16th?) birthday! Isn't that nuts. He said he always hated his birthday because people only said Happy Birthday to him every 4 years!



Isn't this some lovely Heart Candy? This is a special stamp set from CTMH, it's an acrylix set called Serendipity and is now unavailable. All you have to do to win is leave a comment on this post by Tuesday midnight. I will choose a winner next Wednesday, March 5.

    My neighbor's birthday is Feb 29-she would normally be 30 this year. The same age as my baby! At least she can pretend to be a kid a bit longer.

    Your card is so fun! My husband birthday is the 1 of March but he almost came to the world the 29... it would have been akward to celebrate his birthday. I bet your uncle love getting a year every 4 years! ;) LOL

    I used to babysit a little girl who had a leap year birthday and she always felt special 'cause everyone always made a big deal about her birthday...more presents! lol :)

    Such cute stamps! My Aunt and Uncle got married on leap year.. they've been married for 16 years but this would be there 4th anniversary.. Some how I think my Uncle had something to do with that knowing he had to buy a present every 4 years! :)

    I have a friend that was due today, but was glad she went a day early. She said sometimes leap year birthdays can be a pain because computer programs don't recognize the date. I never thought of that.

    Love your cards and ideas. A co-worker has her birthday on leap day. She throws herself a bday party at work and everyone goes by all day to wish her a happy birthday many times during the day. This is to make up for each year she doesn't get a birth day.
