Sweet Heart Candy!

Happy Friday everyone! I am so excited to bring you this sweet heart candy this week.

It's the new 6x6 paper pad by Basic Grey called Sugared. Can you believe that I have had this for a week and haven't opened it up to play with it yet? I've actually been doing some scrapbooking. To win is easy, leave a comment on this post by Tuesday midnight and I will select a winner on Wednesday morning using Random.org. I am looking for good sentiment stamp sets, the kind that you can put on the inside of a card. If you have any good ideas let me know. I already have everything by SU and CTMH or let me know what your favorite set right now is.

As I was saying, I've been off this week and today is my last official day of spring vacation. It went by so fast. I spent most of the week organizing and doing some scrapbooking. I even accomplished one of my New Year's goals, to finish my son's 1st year album and I finally did it. So I will leave you with some of the layouts I completed this week.

(Here's the invitation [one of my earlier creations: http://stampinwhenican.blogspot.com/2006/10/charlottes-birthday-invite.html].) That Sugared pack is terrific...I wish my LSS would get it in already! Cheers to you!

  13. your layouts are so pretty, congratulations on finishing your scrapbooking goal :)

I love PTI "Midex Messages" set, but they're pretty small. A close second is Hero Arts, they have sets tham combine cursive fonts with one like Times New Roman that I love and are big enough to use on the inside of the cards :)

  20. Oh aren't you sweet!!! (pun intended!) I actually just purchased my first pad of BG paper online yesterday and can't wait for it to come in.

PTI has some nice stamps for the inside of cards. One is a birthday set and another is for Christmas/holidays. You should check them out.

  21. Well I love Define Your Life, but you already have that. I came across a nice set from Cloud 9 Designs called Simple Thoughts Happy Birthday. Lots of quotes and sayings...different from the usual birthday things. Would love to win that paper!

  28. Wow! Wonderful blog candy! A stamp set that I think is great for sentiments is the Papertrey Ink set: Mixed Messages. The sentiments are very short and to the point. I don't have this set, but it's certainly on my wish list.

  29. I've already won your generous Sweet Heart Candy, so don't enter my name! However, I wanted to tell you that on SCS I had heard about the clear stamp sale at Joann's (a few weeks ago) so I went and bought some sets. I saw these Cloud 9 Designs sets -- they are all sentiments for inside cards!! I haven't tried it out yet so don't know how well they stamp. I can't find a good site to view them -- but they have them on ATRS. But the picture is not clear! HTH!

  35. OOOhhhh, I love Basic Grey Paper and I don't have this one yet. As for sentiments, I have quite a few. I have several from The Angel Company which is one company you didn't mention having. They have several sets that are just sayings. In fact I just ordered a sentiment set that is for sympathy cards. I always seem to need good sympathy verses. I also make my own using cut and paste with Versalog.com with Word on my pc. I love the fact that I can choose my color and font with the phrase I choose. I can then cut or punch or diecut my phrases or verses to use on or in my cards. Hope this helps.

Very different, also creative messages done in a mix of small perfect type with the accent word in each saying done larger in script. I'm loving it! Focused on positive, and heartfelt little sayings.
