You Did It

My prize for my bi-weekly blog candy is this 6x6 Basic Grey paper pad called Indie Bloom. To win, please leave a comment on this post. Winner will be selected randomly and posted here on the blog on June 8.

Today, I am sharing my card for the Just A Scrappin blog challenge to make a graduation card. I saw a card very similar to this on one of my blog hopping around the web and I am not sure who to attribute it to. It's a business size card to fit in a #10 envelope. I used the cartridge Graduation and Gypsy font for my letering. The background paper is Scenic Route and it's like a graph paper. I tied some simple gingham ribbon and a button and I was done. Inside, I made a little pocket to hold money or a check which is what every graduate wants and needs!

This weekend, it's Lily's 4th birthday. For those of you who have been reading my blog for awhile will probably be surprised to learn that she is going to be 4! I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I will be posting a picture of her next week so you can see how the big girl has grown! It's also a holiday weekend here in the states and we are expecting it to be a little cool here which is very strange in Southern California usually this weekend means bbq's, beaches and sunshine. Today, on the way it poured rain and we are expecting rain most of the day! It's a miniumum day for me today since I had to work late yesterday at Open House so I can get my holiday weekend started early! Hope you have a good one.
