My upline had a get together last week and one of the ladies made us all these notebooks. Aren't they cute? This is a quick post today. I plan on doing some Black Friday shopping, at least at one store. Enjoy your holiday weekend.

I don't have anything to show you today but I just wanted to wish everyone a great day. I hope that you are able to spend it with the ones you love! I will be cooking for the second year in a row. Those of you who read my blog last year, remember my horror story of waking up that Thursday morning and finding out that my stepson had put my FRESH turkey in the freezer. I had to run out at 6am and find a turkey. NOT COOL! I hope this year will go much better. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Here is another sneak peek at some new product that will be available in the new catalog. But you can own all of these wonderful products early with the Valentine's Bundle! It's available for order on December 23 and includes the stamp set Love You Much, new Designer paper pack Candy Cane Lane and the heart to heart punch. All of these products are showcased in the above card.
Here is a sneak peek at one of the new stamps that will be out with the new catalog. You can get it early in a special Valentine's Day Bundle that will be available beginning December 23. This was a card for a sketch challenge as well as a paper piecing challenge on MFT's company forum on splitcoaststampers. The papers are from Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients for Christmas. The books are colored in using copics. I saw on another blog this technique for tying the ribbon off the card. I really like the look and decided to try it out for this card. Inside the card, it says "happy birthday" because I'm actually giving this card to my library technician whose birthday is on Friday. It feels nice to actually give a card to someone. Talk to you soon.

Here is my new class by mail card kit for the stamp set Season of Friendship, of course you can use any stamp set you would like. Please visit The Heart Shoppe for details on this kit. I really like this Autumn Vine dp. I don't really use these fall colors very often but I really like them especially with this stamp set.
Here is another card made using Season of Friendship from the Holiday mini. The colors are mustard, rust and sage shadow. I used my rectangle nestabilities and actually put two die cuts together for this layered piece. The dp is autumn vine also from the mini. Quick post today, talk to you all soon.
Today's candy is this Basic Grey 6x6 sultry paper pad. To win just leave a comment on this post by midnight Tuesday. I will post a winner on Wednesday! If you are a subscriber to my blog you my comment twice.
When I first got this set, I wasn't sure what to do with it but it has really grown on me. I used the Sizzix top note die as well as the Season of Friendship stamp set. The paper is autumn vine and the colors are more mustard, rust and sage. The ribbon is double stitched chocolate. It's a much wider ribbon than I'm used too but I think it looks nice.

Sorry the picture is so blurry. I've been having some camera issues. I think that I've been overloading lately. I had a birthday card to make for my library technician's son who just turned one. Since I had the Country Living Holiday Kit out, I made my card out of the contents. It's slightly christmasy but I don't think overly so. I also used the stamp set Time to Party. It was just a way to use this kit in a different way.
Here is a fun shaker Christmas card made with the Country Living Holiday kit. The elements of the kit make it very easy to make a shaker card. I placed acetate over the hole and placed micro beads in there. I backed the shaker with a stamped image and voila shaker! The sentiment snowflake image and papers are also from the kit and the felt flurries are from the holiday mini. The colors for this card are Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red.
Here is a project that I made using the elements of the Country Living holiday kit. These are ornaments. The chipboard and paper are precut, all you have to do is glue them together. The snowflake ornament is actually pretty big. "Peace" comes from the stamp set included in the kit. I layered a smaller snowflake which I glittered ontop of the big snowflake. The silver cord is included and is perfect for hanging these ornaments from a tree or as holiday decor in your home.

Wow, isn't this a pretty card? The colors are white, chocolate and bashful blue. I embossed a top folding white card base with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder. I stamped the tree from Snow Swirled in bashful blue and mounted it on chocolate and then on a scalloped bashful blue piece that I cut with nestabilities. The greeting was stamped in chocolate and then layered on bashful blue. The top is tied off with a bashful blue ribbon and chocolate ribbon and it's all done. I think that this is my favorite card with this stamp set and it was probably the absolute easiest one!
I cased this card from someone on Splitcoast, sorry I didn't keep good info! The stamps are Snow Swirled and Punches Three. The colors are pink pirouette, chocolate and bashful blue. I stamped the snowflakes with not quite navy on Bashful blue and used the scallop edge punch on the bottom. The tree is stamped with bashful blue and mounted on chocolate cardstock. I used embellishments as shown. It was really an easy card to make. That snow swirled does a great job of making elegant and easy cards.
Woo Hoo! Looks at this loot! This is the wonderful Holiday candy you can win this week! But I'm going to make you work for it!

Here are a couple of Halloween Pics. Tyler was of course Thomas the Tank Engine and Lily was the absolutel cutest little pumpkin you ever saw. That's my sister in the top picture. She really wanted to get a good pic of her with the little ones but Tyler would not cooperate.
On this card, I used the negative of the Top Note Die from the card that I made yesterday. The paper is double sided so I just flipped it over and mounted it on white cardstock, stamped my images (all from Merry and Bright) and Iwas all done. The base cardstock is baja breeze. It was a great way to not waste!

Above you will find a couple of pics on our Day Out with Thomas. The top pic is Tyler riding the train. We were near the front so we could actually kind of see Thomas, he was just a little in front of us. The next pic is of Thomas approaching. The last pic is of Tyler on the floor playing with trains. They had a tent set up with all kind of train tables and trains for the little kids to play. We got there early so he had plenty of room to move around. He's the one in bright Thomas blue. You'll notice he had a long sleeve shirt in this pic. The top pic he's wearing a red short sleeve shirt. It got super hot so I changed his shirt.
Even though Lily didn't come (she hung out with grandma), I had to put a little picture of her. She's now 5 months old. Isn't she totally gorgeous? I could just eat her up!
I just love this Top Note Die from SU. I actually don't have the Big Shot. My husband would kill me! I just don't have the space. We have a huge bedroom and I have a little corner of it which I have outgrown ten times over! I do have my little cuttlebug and I can use this die in it! The dp is ski slope and found in the holiday mini. I also used this cool felt snowflake also in the mini as is of course Twigster. I used my copics to color him in and outlined his body in cool gray. Another really simple card that you can reproduce easily!
Here is another card made with my red and green card kit. I used a holiday set from Paper Trey Ink. I stamped the tree in old olive and just highlighted the berries with a red marker. The sentiment is also Paper Trey Ink. A very simple holiday card but I also think that it's easy to duplicate and look no dp!
