Today's card uses a retired stamp set called Harmony. I stamped the flowers in clear ink and the butterfly is a sizzix die. I found this stamp set in the back of my stamp shelf and it was really fun to find a way to use this stamp set!

The card here uses Eastern Blooms and this bright and fun Maine Blueberry dp and old olive ribbon. The sentiment is a past hostess level I stamp set but I still use it quite a bit. I also used my neglected Top Note die.
Today's card is a simple one. It uses Eastern Blooms in a little bit different way. I stamped the flowers in white on riding hood red and cut them out. I decorated the middle with white pearls that I had on hand. The ribbon is also riding hood red. The white cardstock is embossed with dots . This is a case, I don't remember where but I just love how different the use of the stamp is here or at least different than how I normally use it.
Today's card is a 4x4 card. I rarely do different sized cards, mainly because I like the standard cards for one thing I don't have to worry about having the right size envelope. This stamp comes from one of the new hostess stamp sets Its the thought. I used retired Love Always paper and regal rose cardstock and ribbon.
Last week's winner is: Bethany
I just love this card. It's a case and I can't remember the details so if you're the one I cased this from please let me know. I used some retired dp and this fabulous stamp set called For a Friend. The hearts were punched using the SU triple heart punch and the heart was colored in with a red copic and then I used stickles over it. The circles on the dp have rhinestones on them. The colors are tempting turquoise, chocolate and pink pirouette.
Today's card blends the new with the old. The dp is Haiku from Su and the little stamp is from a new hostess set in the new SU catty. Very simply done.
Here is another card using SU's Choo Choo stamp set - this time the colors are not quite navy and olive. I stamped the railroad track wheel on white and then sponged an olive "grass" below it. The train parts are stamped separately and then attached to the card. The dp is blueberry maine and the base cardstock is old olive. I just love the combo of blue and green. It just seems like such a natural combination.
This card uses the stamp set Good Friend, stamped in the new Cherry Cobbler. The dp is retired slumber party. the bird was stamped separately and cut out. Such a simple and friendly card. I really like this stamp set but I sometimes find that these larger images are difficult to know what to do with! But I think that it really works on this card.
This week's blog candy is this fabulous border and image stamp set from SU. To win just leave a comment on this post and I will select a winner using Random.org next week.
Today's card uses this awesome retired Blueberry Maine dp from SU. I just love these colors of olive and not quite navy. I used the stamp set Eastern Blooms and my rectangle nestabilities. A simple card but I think the colors are dp make it a little more wow.
Don't forget blog candy here. Today's card uses this so cute choo choo set from SU. I really like this stamp set but I don't use it as much as I should. The colors here are teal, ruby red and cocoa. I stamped the railroad track wheel in chocolate and then stamped my train in different colors and cut it out then used dimensionals on the card. It's always nice to have a few little boy cards on hand.
Don't forget blog candy can be found here. Today's card uses up some leftover pieces from an SU Simply Scrappin' kit for a new baby girl. There is no stamping on this card. I did add some punches and ribbon for some snap.
This week's blog candy is the bottom stamp set retro roadster. For some reason I couldn't find my edited picture. To win just leave a comment on this post.
BernieTom is the winner for last week's candy! Please email me with your details! Today's card uses retro sentiments and fox and friends from SU. I also used dp from SU too. A simple card but fun! I love this little turtle. Got a busy weekend, swimming lessons and lunch with the girls! Talk to you soon.
Don't forget blog candy here. Today's card uses SAB paper pad and this image from Fox and Friends. Very simple card that I made awhile ago when I was trying out my new stuff. I have been making TONS of new cards but I haven't taken pics of it yet but hope to soon. I have been so busy - cleaning up my stepson's old room which will soon be Lily's room, keeping up with the kids and all that jazz. I hope that everyone enjoyed their holiday. We had a bbq at my sister's and fireworks, still legal in our city and the kids, Tyler especially had a blast. Today was a rest day and tomorrow we are going to Disneyland this time with the entire brood including my niece! Talk to you all soon.
This week's blog candy is SU's SAB stamp set Botanical Blooms. To win, leave a comment on this post and I will choose a winner using random.org next Friday.
I had a very quiet birthday. My husband took the day off and we woke up late and went to breakfast. I had time to go to the gym and we got takeout. My husband went out and got me my favorite cake - fudge roll chocolate chip ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins! Yum!
This weekend is our 4th of July holiday and I plan on having some yummy bbq at my sister's and setting off some fireworks! Fun!
Today is my 37th birthday! Happy birthday to me. My kids love singing Happy Birthday. I am not sure what I am doing today. I already got my birthday present from my sister, a pasta maker. We do a class a couple of months ago and now we can make our own pasta. Yeah!
