My weekend was really busy. We had a little party for Lily on Sunday, with the family. I ordered her the cutest Dora cake and she was a little shy of all the attention but I think that she had a lot of fun! I am so tired that I haven't had a chance to load my pictures yet but I hope to share some this week and no stamping time either!!! I hope that you all had fun this holiday weekend.

Blog Candy Holiday

Today is also Lily's 2nd birthday! Can you believe that she's 2? The card I have today uses kraft cardstock and my freee aniversary circles set from Papertrey ink. I used rose red ink and ribbon and rasberry tart dp from SU. I used one of Nichole Heady's techniques of embossing lines onto her cardstock. Have a great weekend and if you are in the states, a happy 3 day weekend!

Cupcake Fun

Today's card uses scraps from a birthday simply scrappin' kit. The card uses the Cupcake stamp set from SU. I paperpieced the cupcake top and used my white gel pen for the sprinkles.

I hope that everyone has a good week! Mine is so busy! Today we ran errands after work and didn't get the kids to bed until 9:00 so after I watched Glee, I just had a few minutes to post a card!

Hey There!

Today's card uses Petal Pizazz from SU and the Slumber Specialty dp. I used the colors kiwi kiss and riding hood red and I used a fun kiwi kiss corduroy brad for the center. I love this card, so bright and fun!

The Glee concert was so fun!!! We had a great time singing and rocking out! Very tired today and I'm sure I will be tired this week but it was worth it!

Bravo Flowers

Today's card uses retired dp from SU, and the colors kiwi kiss and bravo burgundy. I used my Petal Pizzazz stamp set again, so fun. I cut the flowers out and placed them on top of my kiwi kiss stem and used some ribbon that I had in my stash that matched. I also used this fab punch from SAB.

Work has been long and stressful and it's only Wednesday! But the weekend is half over and after this post, I'm going to do some stamping. Yeah!

Petal Pizzazz meets Oprah

HI everybody! I can't believe it's Monday already. The weekend went by so fast. It was my stepson's prom on Saturday and Robert drove him and his date and he spent the day detailing the card, picking up his tux and flowers and all that jazz. Sunday I took the babies to visit my parents and did laundry.

Today's card is a personal favorite. It uses the stamp set Petal Pizzazz from SU and the sentiment is from Verve Visual. The colors are so saffron, baja breeze and riding hood red. I used my top note die and my rhinestone brads, all from SU. The ribbon is from last year's sale-a-bration. While I love that SAB this year had a punch, I wouldn't mind seeing ribbon again, I have gotten a ton of mileage out of that ribbon!

Round and round in pink

Today's card uses this fabulous image from Round and Round, my free anniversary set from Paper Trey Ink which I stamped in rose red which matched up very nicely with my wide rose red ribbon and rasberry tart dp. I took a page out of Nichole Heady's book and scored this two lines on my kraft cardstock. Simple but bright!

Blog Candy and Belated Mother's Day wishes

Don't forget blog candy here. I hope that everyone had a fabulous Mother's Day! I spent Saturday go-karting with my family. It was my Mother's Day present from my husband. On Sunday, we went to my Mom's house for a lunch prepared by my brother and his girlfriend. It was delicious. I bought my mom's favorite, Godiva Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. It was heaven. I will have to work extra hard at the gym this week.

Today's card is a simple one using retired but cheery dp from SU and this cupcake from Darling Dots hostess stamp set. I have so many projects to work on but I've been so tired. My kids love to double team us. Lily with her big girl bed, woke up last night and we found her staring at us at 1:00 in the morning. Then Tyler had an accident last night at 2:00. His reasoning was that nobody told him it was time to go. Even though he's been dry at night for weeks! So it was a rough Monday! Thank goodness for coffee!

I used my stars stamp set again for this very cool card that I cased from PTI. I used Pacific Point, garden Green and riding hood red. I think all the white space really makes the colors pop!

Stars, stars and more stars

Today's card is a little bit funky. I used my retired SU stars stamp set to randomly create a stars background. I stamped some bigger stars and cut them out. I used ribbon is a funky way to. It was a bit out of my element but I enjoyed doing something a bit different.

A bit tired. Wednesday night, we too the kids to family storytime which was at 6:30. We were too tired to shower them when we got home, so we have to get up extra early to do it in the morning. Bummer!

Baja Breeze meets Priceless

Today's card uses Pricess as well and I just love how this came out. I used the Parisian Breeze DP with baja breeze and soft suede. I made my own "doodad" ala Mish with a suede baja brad, kiwi kiss ribbon piece and twine. I also used the Modern label punch. It's also nice because some of these colors will be back in the next catalog!

I hope that everyone had a good weekend. Mine seemed like a whirlwind. My husband got a new desk - a ginormous L-shaped one. He spent the entire weekend putting it together, it had like a zillion parts. I spent the weekend trying to keep the little ones amused and doing laundry and trying to get my craft area organized!

Today's card uses the Priceless stamp set which I've only used a few times. The base cardstock is kraft with chocolate and pink pirouette. I stamped the butterfly first in chocolate ink and stamped the buttefly again on scratch white and attached them to the body of the butterfly. I used some bling on the swirls which jazzed it up a bit.

It was also exciting because I ordered Lily some Dora sheets for her new bed and they came this weekend. They look so cute on her bed! I hope that you all have a good week!
