Today's card uses some fun pieces from the Mini catalog and SAB. I used the new bird punch which is super cool and sweet pea felt. The paper is from the Sweet Pea paper stack. There is very minimal stamping on this card, just the sentiment but I loved playing with the new goodies! Remember you can earn free stuff through SU's SAB promotion which ends on March 31. Road trip ideas?

HI everyone, Is it just me or does this feel like a long week? Super long for me because I have a professional development day on Saturday! Today's card features all kinds of mini goodies. The stamp set is Fox and Friends and the paper is from the Sweet Pea paper pad. The ribbon is from last year's sale-a-bration. I'm in the process of doing some research for a possible family vacation. My husband wants to go to Oregon but it's going to cost us an arm and a leg just road tripping. If anyone has any great ideas or knows of fun things to do in Oregon, or Utah or any other place that is doable by car from the OC I would love to hear it!

Sale a brate a birthday

Heart filled Gumball Machine

Hi everyone! I hope that everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Day and if you live in the states, our President's Day holiday! I unfortunately spent the weekend taking care of a sick Lily. Saturday was the fever and Sunday was the throwing up. Super fun Valentine's Day. But she's back to her chipper self. I left work early today because I had horrible pains in my back. I thought it was kidney stones but it turns out I have an infection and inflamation. I'm really glad that I went to the doctor.

Have you guys tried any classes over at My Creative Classroom? I'm in the middle of two of them right now. One is the Cricut Calendar class and the other is a Bind It all Basics class. I'll share my projects when I get them completed. I especially like the Bind it all Class. Such nice class options for those who don't have time for traditional classes and a good way to get me motivated to use some of my dusty tools!

Today's card uses items from the mini - Gumball Machine stamp set, Sending Love specialty paper and pretty pink satin ribbon. I used the cute mini heart punch to punch hearts to fill my gumball machine.

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! I hope that you all get to spend the day with someone you cherish! My tiny little card is the Valentines that I made for Lily. The little card uses the sending love speciality paper and teeny tiny wishes sentiment and the Fox and Friends stamp set. I stamped the back with a to/from stamp and put it in one of the new glassine envelopes. I enclosed a hershey kiss heart and sealed it with a little scotch tape. They came out so cute! Hi everyone. Today's card uses some more new products from the mini. I used an embossing folder which I can't remember the name of right now, red satin ribbon, Love Bandit stamp set and this scallop punch (from sale-a-bration) and the scallop corner punch and sending love speciality paper.

Today my little guys get to hand out their Valentine's to their friends. I made Lily's and bought Tyler's. I hope to show them to you all soon.

Thanks for the encouragement about my gray hair. The funny part was that when Tyler saw me he said what happened to your hair and made a funny face. Apparently he likes me the way that I am, gray hair and all!

Sending Love mini book

Today I am sharing my husband's Valentine with you all. I made him a card and gift all in one in the form of a mini book.

I used SU bookboard and covered with SU Sending Love speciality paper. The front cover uses quite a bit of the new stuff from the current mini catalog - The stamp set is Well Scripted and it's adhered to the flower punch also new from the mini. The brads are corduroy and I also used the red and pink satin ribbon from the mini. The happy valentine's day is from teeny tiny wishes.
I have included a couple of pages from my mini book. All of the pages use the Sending Love speciality paper. My gift is not just the book but some gift cards. I mounted cardstock onto the dp but before adhering it, I used my slit punch to make notches to hold the giftcards in place. On the above page, I also used the heart border punch.

On this page, I used the sweet pea felt for embellishement.

The last page of my book I made a little embellishment with the heart embosslit, a latte button and a small heart punch out.
I used my Bind-it-all to bind it together and it's so pretty~ My husband doesn't mind pretty when it's a gift that I make just for him! Don't forget I will be offering some blog candy on Friday! and last week's candy is still open!

Embossed Hearts

Today's card features some products from the mini catalog. I used the Sending Love speciality paper, heart embosslit, red satin ribbon, heart border punch and pink corduroy button. It's kind of funky but really fun in real life. I haven't narrowed down yet what card I'm giving my husband and I'm working on a mini book project that's not finished so I best get back to it.

I had Monday off and it was so nice to just stay in my pj's and do some scrapbooking. My resolution was to be relatively caught up this year which I don't think will happen but if I can make a dent in it I will be happy! Have a good week!

Enclosure cards

Today's cards use up scraps! These are little 3x3 cards which make great enclosure cards. I used SU cottage dp and my new butterfly embossilit for the Big Shot or for the Cuttlebug. I have a Big Shot but I always leave my cuttlebug out because it's so small and compact!

Today, I plan on watching the Superbowl. I usually make snacks and food but I just feel so unmotivated this year so I t hink we're getting some kind of takeout. Just trying to get some laundry done too. I'm lucky to be off from work tomorrow so I will absolutely get my nieces' one year album done and get through my own Lily's album too!

Today's card uses the stamp set I heart hearts from the SU mini and the Sweet Pea Paper pad. I do so love new stamps! It has been a very exhausting and mentally draining two weeks of work and I just want to sleep. Do you ever have those weeks? I have just had two of them and I'm so glad that tomorrow is Friday. I'll be at the district office at a meeting which is a tiny bit of drag but I'm going to be doing something interesting and it's the perfect time to have a different environment if you know what I mean.

This weekend, I'm getting my hair cut and colored. The gray has just exploded and I can't stand it anymore!

Wedding Box

Quick post today. Isn't this a cute box. It was a make and take from Sizzix. They had these ready to got and we got to take them with us and make the boxes at home. It's a box in the shape of a dress. Very cute! They were demoing their new Bigshot Pro. It's so cook, it makes full sized boxes and baskets and bags but it's kind of big and I already have a regular Big Shot but it's still cool!

Provo Make and Take's

One of the most booths was the Provocraft booth. They were in the center and were giving out chef hats in celebration of their new Cricut Cake coming out. They had books with the new cartridges and tons of new and fabulous must have cuttlebug dies and folders, demos and make and takes. The lines were long but I was able to make this cool little scrapbook. We got to use a new Cuttlebug folder and once our book was put together we got to bind it with the Your Story binding machine! Really fun. I was lucky enough to get one of the hats and my little ones were super excited and wore it around the house all weekend! Some of the other make and takes they had included using the new cricut cake to decorate a cupcake and make a little box for it.

I also had fun at the Making Memories booth. They will be giving away two Vespas in celebration of their new hands free kit for the Slice. We all got cute aprons and had some fun trying to win a slice.

CHA was super fun!

Hi Everyone! CHA was so much fun! It was super pouring rain here in California all week, but that didn't damper my mood. I got there about 1:00 and didn't leave until after 6:00. I shopped and did make and takes and just had a good old time. I did two Make and Takes using Taylored Expression stamps. The top is from Taylor's booth, using one of her new releases. The second one uses a single that is not even out yet and was a make and take at the splitcoaststampers booth. I bought that cute little stamp, I couldn't help it. Taylor by the way is even more gorgeous in person, nice and really tall. I'll be back with more make and takes and more info about what I saw later this week.

More new product from the mini and I just love it all. This paper is the sending love speciality paper from SU and has glitter on it. So fun. The stamp set I think is called With Love. The pink ribbon and kraft cardstock and the epoxy brad are also from SU.

Isn't this the cutest little stamp. It's from the mini and is called Fox and Friends. The dp is retired SU and the ribbon and cardstock is also SU. I just think it's a sweet little card.

This week All I can say is Rain, rain go away. I know, boo hoo to us Southern Californians for finally having some winter. But the rain has been relentless and the flooding was crazy on Wednesday. Today is supposed to be the last day and this weekend I will be attending the Craft and Hobby Show. It's practically in my backyard!
