Fabulous Florets

Today's card uses some new product from the summer mini. The dp is called Beyond the Garden and the stamp set is Fabulous Florets. The base cardstock is tnagerine tango. I random stamped flowers in pacific point, tangerine tango and daffodil and then assembled my card. I stamped one of the "florets" in pacific point and cut it out. I used my glue pen to put glue all over the front of the flower and them dipped it in dazzling diamonds glitter. A really bright cheerful and easy card!

Yesterday, was my 38th birthday. Wow, time has just flown by! I got my favorite Baskin Robbins fudge roll ice cream cake so I'm happy!

Yesterday, I went to a cooking class with my sister where I learned to make cream puffs and last weekend I went to the San Diego zoo. I also took Tyler to his baseball practice and took both kids to hip hop dance class. So I have been very busy!

Felt mini books

Today, I am sharing a mini book that I made using a variety of products. I used PTI felt in black and cream and used CTMH embellishment glue to bind the two pieces together. I used cuttlebug dies for the flowers also in felt and put buttons in the center. The lettering is from Kate's ABC's Cricut cartridge. I bound the book with bookrings and gave the book to my sister for Mother's Day. I love making these mini books they are so much fun!

I used the Everyday Popups cartridge for my teapot and scraps of this retired SU dp that I've been using all year and still havea few pieces left. I doodled a few dots here and there with my white gel pen. The wavy lines are from the card feature on the card. It was a really fun card to make!

Whimsical

Today I have a fun card that uses products from 3 companies. The frog die and stamp are from PTI, stamped on wool felt that I got on Etsy. The dotted paper and the butterfly die are from A Muse Studio. The stamped butterfly and sentiment are from SU. I used rhinestones from my stash for the butterfly and I love the sparkliness of them. This is a card that I gave my sister for Mother's Day - kind of whimsical and fun just like she is! Hope you have a fun filled day!

On our last day, while we were waiting for the train to open at Balboa Park, the kids ran around and had a great time. I used Cosmo Cricket paper along with the April Showers Cricut cartridge and one of my Martha Stewarts carts for the letting. Thanks for looking!

Hello Kitty and flower

Today I am sharing a card that I made for the kids to give my mom for Mother's Day. I used my Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge. The dp is SU retired and I used my bubbles martha Stewart punch which I cannot for the life of me get to line up correctly. Does anyone have any tips for using this darn punch, no matter what I do it does not line up right. Anyway, Hello Kitty is cut at 3 inches and my mom thought that she was very cute, and it was the perfect card for the kids to give their Grandma.

Funnest Birthday

last week's winner is Lilian. Please email me so that I can mail your prize to you. This week's prize is this awesome CTMH stamp set. To win please leave a comment on this post and check back next Friday to see if you are a winner.

Today I am sharing this super cute card made with the Baby Steps Cartridge. This is a fabulous cartridge that is not just for baby layouts but there are also some very cute things for young children in general. This little girl, I call her Lily is super cute. I cut her at 3.5. I embossed her jumper with the swiss dots folder. Some of you will recognize this paper...I am still getting milage out of my last scraps of this retired SU paper. The sentiment is A Muse Studio. The nose cut out very tiny, it was barely a snippet so I just used my marker to make her nose.

I have been super busy getting ready for the end of the year! Today is the last day for students and it feels good to have made it through another year.

Thanks for coming by and visiting me today.

Party Hearty

Today I am sharing another card using Party Heart from SU. I am using up retired SU paper and ribbon and this button I think is retired too. I promised my husband I would use up some of my stash but it is slow going. I keep creating and scrapbooking and it just grows and grows. Maybe I need to stop buying too, that might help.
