Santa Clause is Coming...

Hi everyone,

Today is Day 3 of the 25 Days of Christmas. I have been so lax in crafting lately. I usually just go to bed or watch TV or play with my phone after I put my kids to sleep. I use to craft about an hour a night but some of the fun has gone out of crafting and I am hoping that crafting for my favorite holiday will help bring some of that joy back. I pulled out a stack of Christmas paper pads that I have in my stash and my goal is to see how much of them I can get through with various projects.

Today's project uses the Cozy Christmas stamp set from Mama Elephant.

A Cozy Christmas

Hi everyone,
Today is the second day of my 25 Days of Christmas. This is where I post a project a day until Christmas. Then I give myself a couple of days off to regroup. I wasn't sure if I was going to do it this year because my life is just crazy but I am hoping that it will get me motivated to complete my holiday craft projects because I am woefully behind! I have only made like a handful of Christmas cards. I did do my photocards to send to my relatives and friends. I took the pictures myself which saved me a bundle.

This is my project for the day:

My projects for this seasons will be a mix of stamps, die cuts and machines, cards, home décor and more. Today's project uses the Cozy Christmas stamp set and dies from Mama Elephant. I love these stamps so cute and fun. The card is super easy and I used my copics to color it in.

My project:

I used the Winter Frolic cartridge along with the Martha Stewart Birthday cartridge for the letters. The paper is Bo Bunny. I used some stickles to brighten it up a bit. I hope that you all join in the challenge this week over at FCCB!

 

So did any of you do any shopping this weekend? I went on Friday, Saturday and Sunday very briefly and did not go to any of the malls but found some minor crowds but it was really not a problem and I got a couple of killer deals on gifts for my kids! Happy December!

Hi everyone,

  Super busy and stressful the last couple of weeks but hopefully things are starting to work themselves out so I can get back to crafting. I have already started making Christmas cards and I am hoping that I will be able to do my 25 Days of Christmas this year.

I have been super crazy busy. October I had something every month. I thought that it would calm down in November but it's already nuts with kids parties, Lily's dance competitions, homework, taekwondo and well the list goes on and on. Plus I am getting used to my new normal as a single mom!

Happy Halloween 2014

Hi everyone,
Happy Halloween! I will be out and about tonight with all of the ghosts and goblins with my children. I cannot believe that it's already Halloween! The holidays are around the corner. If you are like me and have been thinking there is plenty of time, the clock has started ticking! I always tell myself that I am going to work on my cards and gifts ahead of time but I am always playing catch up until the very end!

Hi everyone,
I have a quick project for you all.

I used some new stamps that I got from My Creative Time. I was just experimenting and trying to use up some scraps. I am so behind on projects. I have been super busy for one thing and dealing with my personal issues kind of zapped the fun out of crafting but I think I am slowly turning that around. I bought some new Christmas stamps and am looking forward to making some cute projects. I also have scrapbooking projects that I need to finish up. I haven't done my album yet for summer. The album is done I just need to print pictures and decorate and I have an album to make for Tyler's 8th birthday party which was in September. So just super behind but I hope to catch up soon and get back to crafting for fun!

Awesome Day

HI everyone,

I am back today with other Greeting Farm project. I used this cute Anya and colored her with Copic markers and then cut her out. I used some Spellbinder dies for my mat and the paper is Carta Bella It's a Celebration. The flower was from my stash and the banner is Simon Says Stamp. These little Anyas are so fun to color.
