I added some twine and sequins. The stamp is from CardzTV "Love Ya."

Spreading Joy

Hi everyone,
I am back with another card using a cute stamp from The Greeting Farm, I used this fabulous Holiday Anya.

I used an older MME Christmas paper pad and my copics to color in this cute Anya. I think this project could be used for winter birthday, thank you or even for a holiday card.

It's the start of a new week. I hope that you all got up with a positive bounce in your step!

Happy Birthday Ian

Hi everyone,
I am back with another project. Today, I am using this super cute Holiday Ian stamp from The Greeting Farm. I didn't really get a chance to use him very much during the holiday season so I used him for a winter birthday card.
The paper is from an old MME Christmas paper pad. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh and the sentiment is from Jaded Blossom. I enjoyed using my copics to color him in.

Thanks for visiting today!

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Challenge #292-Something New
Make a project using a new technique, cartridge, embellishment, etc.

This Weeks Sponsor

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

Any project that doesn't use a Cricut element will be deleted.
Here is my project:

This project uses an older MME Christmas paper pad and the "new" Hello Kitty Christmas digital cartridge. I bought this during Cricut's 12 Days of Christmas and then promptly did not use it at all so I've given myself permission to make winter and make even Christmas cards for the month of January.

No craft videos for a little while because I need to replace my Netbook, it's about 7 years old and the videos are now grainy and blurry and nothing I do seems to fix it. I think it's just toast but I need to wait until my tax refund but I do have some journaling/planner videos in the works.

Be sure to visit FCCB and join in the challenge for a chance to win the prize!

Merry Christmas

HI everyone,
Welcome to th 12 Days of Christmas Day 12. I planned on sharing my holiday album but I failed to get it done in time, mainly because I used a new tutorial and then ended up not liking it so I had to start over. I do plan on  sharing some projects after Christmas too. Today, I am headed over to my parents for our annual Christmas eve dinner and it will be a carb feast, can't  wait.
Today, I am sharing just some random projects. The first is a gift bag and bow I made using my wermemory keepers punch boards.
The next project is a card that I made for Lily's teacher using Lawn Fawn stamps.
Thanks for visiting today. Happy Christmas Eve!

12 Days of Christmas -Day 11

HI everyone,
Welcome to Day 11 of the 12 Days of Christmas.  Yesterday it rained all day which put a damper on our plans. Today, I hope the rain stays away long enough to have some man made snow fun.

Today's card uses the Winter Cheer stamp set from Cardztv along with a bird from Lawn Fawn''s Winter Sparrow and winter plaid paper paid. I paper pieced the snowman and finished my card with Pretty Pink Posh sequins. The tree element is a die from Lawn Fawn and I think it's my new favorite thing.

HI everyone,
Welcome to Day 10 of the 12 Days of Christmas.  We were supposed to go to California Adventure today but it is pouring rain in Southern  California since yesterday.  My backyard is flooded and the dog is afraid to go out. So it's rainy day activities today.

12 Days of Christmas -Day 9

HI everyone,
Welcome to Day 9 of the 12 Days of Christmas. Today is my kids last day of school for 2016. I am volunteering with my son's party and I feel so lucky that he can be so happy that I am coming. He is in fifth grade so I don't think that it will be much longer before I am embarrassing to him.

Today I am sharing the card that I made for Tyler's teacher. I used The Greeting Farm Holiday Ian and die as well as Winter Sparrows stamp and die from Lawn Fawn. The paper is American Crafts Hot Cocoa and some glitter cardstock that I bought on clearance last year. I colored in everything with copics. I ended with some stickles for sparkle.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 8

HI everyone,

Welcome to Day 8 of the 12 Days of Christmas. Today, a close friend of mine and her family came for an unexpected visit. It was nice to chat and her daughter happily played with our puppy. It was a nice start to my first official day of winter vacation.

Today, I have a couple of cards to share:

I busted our some Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. I love that these are all mini sets but still make a fun card. I am also using American Crafts Hot Cocoa paper pad.

12 Days of Christmas -Day 7

HI everyone,
Welcome back to another Day in the 12 Days of Christmas. My Grandma''s party was a lot of fun and the kids had a great time. The kids have school today but I hope to get finished with my wrapping and some other projects.
Today, I am sharing just a quick pic of the treat bags I made for Lilys dance team.
These were inspired by bags that Jamie the owner of the Not too shabby shop. Inside is a package of hot cocoa, candy cane and chocolate marshmallow Santa. The topper was made by the treat topper die from Avery Elle.

This morning it was so cold, the dew on the grass had frozen and was a bed of white tipped grass which my son insisted was snow. We live in So. Cal. It does not snow here but it did get really cold. I snapped a pic but the only thing white you could see was our kids puppy.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 6

Hi everyone,
Welcome to Day 6 of the 12 Days of Christmas. This morning I am going with my kids to my Grandma's boarding care. She has dementia and has been living there for about a year. Anyway, they are having a holiday party so we are going to celebrate a bit with her and them I have no idea what we are going to get into.

Today, I am sharing two cards made using the Winter Unicorn stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I love how inexpensive the stamp set and die are, yet you can still make some amazing cards with it.

I cased the card with the 3 unicorns on it from Pinterest and both cards use Lawn Fawn plaid paper stacks. I also have been playing with Nuvo glitter paste, that stuff is seriously fun!

Hi everyone,
Welcome to Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas. Today is our work Christmas breakfast and then I am off for two weeks! Yay!

Today's project is for the CardzTV sketch challenge. The challenge this week is to make a Christmas card and I used Sketch 10. If you go to Mary's website, there will be a link to all of her sketches which is a nice starting point in making a card.

Here is my project:

I used a paper pad from Michaels and Mary's new Gingerbread Christmas stamp set. The Gingerbread man is outlined with my white gel pen and the red parts use Nuvo glitter drops.

Be sure to visit CardzTV and see all the wonderful projects the DT made and join in the challenge for a chance to win a set of your own CardzTV stamps!

12 Days of Christmas - Day 4

HI everyone,
Welcome to Day 4 of my 12 Days of Christmas. Are any of you making gifts this year? I am making blankets, actually sewing blankets as gifts. I am in the middle of making one for my Grandma. She lives in a senior facility and I thought a blanket to keep her legs warm would be the perfect gift.

Today's card uses Cup of Happiness from Your next stamp which is my first stamp set from this company. This stamp set is super cute and the dies have been sold out but would be handy to cut the marshmallows out. I had a super cute pastel card with this set but I forgot to photograph it before sending it.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 2

Hi everyone,
I am back with my 12 Days of Christmas. A crafty countdown until the big day. Yesterday, I talked about being busy with a new puppy. It really takes some adjusting. For one thing, I thought that we had done a good job of moving ornaments and other items from the bottom of the Christmas tree, not so! I was baking cookies the other day, when I heard something bounce from the tree. He had knocked off ornaments and pulled garland off the tree. Naughty puppy! So now the bottom half of our tree is completely bare, it looks a little ridiculous!

Today's project is a couple more cards using Neat and Tangled's Beary Christmas. I am so going to use this stamp set, year around, it is just so cute and really fun to color.

The top card uses paper from Lawn Fawn Christmas Plaid and the bottom card uses Hot Cocoa from American Crafts. I did try to make all the cards look a bit different. I am so behind on making cards and Friday is the last day here at work so I have got to get moving! If you want to see these cards up close, be sure to visit my Youtube channel.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 1

Hi everyone,
I have been so busy this year that I haven't been posting to my blog quite as much, mainly because my kids got a puppy. He is now 3 months old, we have had him for about 6 weeks, a little cream maltipoo. We've got him housetrained for the most part but he whines at night to let out at least twice a night sometimes three times. So I have been going to bed when the kids do which means less time to craft and post. Otherwise...I get NO SLEEP!

In years past, I have done a countdown 25 days of Christmas. This year it's going to be the 12 days of Christmas because honestly I just realized that Christmas is almost here and of course I am totally behind.

Today, I am sharing a couple of cards that I made using Neat and Tangled's Beary Christmas. I think this is my favorite stamp set of the holidays. It is so adorable and I really hope the company comes out with Companion stamps for it so that I can use it year round. The die cuts out part of the hands so the bear can hold various things.

The bottom cards uses a sentiment from CardzTV. Coloring them a little differently and using different papers gives the cards a different look. If you would like to see the cards up close be sure to visit my Youtube channel. I don't show how to make these cards but do show the cards up close and discuss exactly what I used to make them. The top card uses the Winter paper pad from Lawn Fawn and the bottom card uses American Crafts Hot Cocoa paper.

Thanks for visiting today. Hope to see you tomorrow!
