Hi, 

Today the subject is journaling. I have kept a journal off and on since I was a teenager. I have been struggling to keep up with it. I used a hobonichi one year and actually kept up with it every day, then the next year I was really sporatic. This year I am using an Archer and Olive notebook but I just can't remember to write in it everyday. I think it's a 30 days makes habit situation. I have done monthly journals and I have those posted on my Youtube but as my kids get older there is just a bit less to document. I think that I need to think about journaling a little differently and maybe use it to explore different topics.

Today's project is using Sweater Weather and I have lots of tags to share with you.

Hello!

So in my last post, I alluded to being sick last Christmas which is why I did not make a single Christmas project for the first time in forever. Well, apparently my Dr inadvertently tried to kill me. I went to him because I had an infection and he gave me a derivative of an antibiotic that I am allergic to. I ended up in the hospital for 4 days where they did just about every test known to man on me as my liver was inflamed and my numbers were off the charts bad. They concluded that it was toxicity of my liver due to an allergic reaction to antibiotics. Completely random, it took nearly 2 months for my numbers to go back to normal and I was out of work all of November and December. I am completely better now and I have a new doctor.

Hi everyone,

What are some of your favorite crafty kits or subscriptions? I am a huge fan of La La Land Crafts monthly kit as well as there quarterly boxes. You get some amazing stamps and dies. I also really like the Not 2 Shabby Shop stamp and die of the month and the monthly subscription box where you get 2 stamp sets, 2 paper pads, 2 sets of ephemera and a small gift usually sequins. Are there any monthly kits you all really like? Any you think that I might like?

I thought that it would be fun to do a little 12 days of Christmas in July. I rarely do Christmas in July projects. This past Christmas, I made zero projects because I was crazy sick but that's a post for another day. I hope this inspires you to get out your Christmas crafty supplies and get ahead of the game!

Tonic Studios Wallet Keeper Die Project

Hi,

How is the weather where you are? The weather in So Cal has been nothing short of amazing, upper 70's with the occasional low 80's here and there. We realized that we don't get outside to enjoy it as much as we should. My boyfriend works the night shift and so it's hard to enjoy the good weather together but it's fabulous shopping at some of the outside malls.

Button Farm Alice in Wonderland Book Project

Hello,

What are you watching right now? Right now, my boyfriend and I are watching Breaking Bad. We are on the 4th season. I missed watching it during the hype of it all but it's now on Netflix and I have the time to watch. Some of the episodes were a big WTF! I am enjoying it though. I am also watching the Bosch spinoff and finally finished The Mandalorian because my sister says that I have to watch Boba Fett if I want to find out what happens to Baby Yoda.

My project today is a mini book using a kit from the Button Farm. I just love Alice in Wonderland and I find myself "collecting" stamps, dies and paper. I have to keep reminding myself not to hoard! But it's sooo hard!

A Dog's Tale no spine Mini Album

Hi! I want every day to go slow because these summer days go by so fast. Why? I am on summer vacation from school and I go back to work at the end of July so once we hit July it really starts feeling like a count down until the end. I get up before 7am everyday and it's my favorite part of the day. The kids and my boyfriend are still asleep and I have a quiet moment to myself. I have coffee and play on my phone, read and usually get a chance to do a little crafting. I think that I could use another hour of sleep but I really don't want to give up that time to myself. It's definitely another form of self care.

Today, I am sharing a little simple mini album using a Dog's Tale. It uses the no spine method and is such a fun little project and super easy. I hope that you take some time for yourself today!

Heartfelt Creations Wild Rose Flowers

Happy belated birthday to me! My 49th birthday was on July 1 and I can't believe that I have less than a year to enjoy my 40's. A birthday is really a time to reflect on our life, goals and relationships. I have a wonderful new guy after being divorced for quite awhile. My children are now teenagers, they get good grades and seem happy. Work has been really difficult with that disease that shall not be named (lol) especially when working at a school but my actual job is going strong. I do have house projects and money saving goals as well as building my Youtube channel which has over 2000 videos but I can't seem to increase my subscribers. I have gone to trying daily posts and improving my video making skills...the videos posted here are my oldie but goodies for now but if you visit my actual YT channel hopefully you will see some growth but I guess I have to remember why I create and post in the first place..it's really for me and is my form of self care and even if just one person watches then I have shared a bit of myself and that's a good thing.

Today's video is a project share of Heartfelt Creations Wild Roses stamp and die. I am really glad that I found this video to share because I am doing an embellishments collab on the 11th and these flowers are really fun. It's a reminder to that we can make our own flowers and not always have to buy everything and it's fun to customize the size and colors too. Enjoy!

No Spine Journal - kill a paper pad!

Hello,

I hope that you are enjoying your summer. I went to San Diego with my family and kids recently and had a good time until the mosquitos attacked me. I got a problem with mosquitos for sure. The kids decided to to night swimming and I had a flashback to the last time we went night swimming in San Diego and I had to go to urgent care because the mosquitos gave me an allergic reaction. This time, I used these natural mosquito wipes everywhere except my face. Guess where those stupid mosquitos bit me??? On my eyelid. My birthday was the next day and I spent it with a swollen quasimodo eye lol. It's nearly better now but it was not my best look!

This video today is on making a very easy, no spine journal and a great way to kill a paper pad that has lots of paper. I ended up giving this one away. I think that I got the tutorial from Lyriclover on Youtube.
