CD Folder Album

Here is an album that I made using CD Literature folders and the Holiday Treasures DP from SU. It was inspired by the albums that I saw here. It's an interactive album with envelopes and tags and pockets. What a great gift this would make! I have the kit available as a class by mail. Introducing Mr. Twigster & Winner!

Here is my next class by mail kit, Mr. Twigster. Please visit The Heart Shoppe to purchase this kit. These 4 cards all use the stamp set Mr. Twigster and the accompanying stamps. I also used Heard from the Heart and Best Yet for sentiments. The colors are kiwi kiss, chocolate, bashful blue and tangerine tango. The DP is Frosty Day from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

This is a criss cross card. I used my circle and scallop punches as well as the felt ribbon found in the mini.

This card also uses the felt snowflakes found in the mini.

These cards would also look great with Merry and Bright.

I hope that those of you in the U.S., voted! I am a permanent absentee voter and I almost forgot to mail my ballot back in. I sent it just in time! Talk about procrastinating. Basically, I'm not a huge fan of either candidate but I had to vote for one of them, so it was a game time decision for me.

Introducing...The Heart Shoppe

I have decided to open a little cyber store which will be where I sell my class by mail kits, ribbon shares, scrapbooks, sketch books and more. I have a few things on there right now and will be adding more as I can.

The first project that I want to show you is this very cool 2009 calendar. It was inspired by a project that I saw on this blog.

I used these cool rectangle coasters that I found and the Create a Calendar kit found in the SU mini catalog. I cut the calendar papers down and adhered them to cardstock that I stamped with Boho Backgrounds. I then adhered the cardstock to the coaster and used my cropadile and jumbo eyelets and bound it all together with jump rings and it stands up all on its own. I plan on cutting the calendar papers even smaller, leaving room on top for pictures of my kids and giving this to my mom for Christmas.

This is my first class in the mail kit. I have put together the ingredients you need to make this including the precut cardstock, coasters and embellishments. Please visit the Shoppe if you are interested. Otherwise, I think that it might spark some inspiration for those looking to do handmade gifts this year.
