Stamp Store

The paper is CTMH and the "stamp shop" is from Amuse. The Happy Hellos stamp is SU and it's a little crooked probably because I mounted it that way. Darn! I really need a stamp-a-ma-jig but I have one somewhere in the garage so I don't want to buy another one. When I met my husband, I put a ton of my stamping supplies in storage. When we bought this house, everything went into the garage and after a year and a half of living here, we still haven't cleaned it out. I might have to break down and buy one. Rats, I hate that! I hope that everyone is enjoying their Saturday. I'm beat after my first full week of work!

Amuse challenge Cards

Both cards use Amuse stamps. The first was for a bling challenge and I made it a Christmas card using Basic Grey DP and bling from my stash to decorate my Charlie Brown Christmas tree. The second card was for an Out of the Box challenge.

Onesie Cards

There is still time to comment for blog candy. Also, if you are interested in seeing CHA sneak peaks be sure to visit craft critique!

I absolutely love this card. I got the template from Lauren at My Time. Usually, when I try these templates, they never come out as good but these ones actually came out pretty good.

This one was the first one that I made. I used Blush Cardstock and the gingham paper I used for the trim I found in my scrap pile.

This one was made with white cardstock and trimmed with baby pink cardstock. I used my circle scallop nestabilities for the trim. The stamps are from Amuse and the stork was stamped in Desert CTMH ink.

I used Heavenly Blue cardstock on this card. The stamps are also Amuse and the overalls are stamped in Desert ink. I used silver brads - it was the closest that I could get to snaps.

I hope that everyone had a great weekend. It was 80 degrees here in sunny Southern California!

Challenge Cards for the New Year

Here are three cards that I made for Kimmie's sketch challenge. My first challenge of the year!
The paper is from Cloud9 , this is an Amuse stamp called Flower Child. The sentiment is MFT.

This is a baby card that I made for a colleague who is having a baby girl. I used SU Bundle of Joy, colored simply with a copic marker. The paper came from some candy I won. The sentiment is Amuse and the ribbon is from my stash.

In this last example, I turned the sketch around a little. It's a birthday card for my cousin using one of my neglected bellas. I paperpieced her pants. I used a bella bauble and a brad I got from some candy I won for the center of the flowers. It's a little busy but I think I like it anyway! I can't believe it's Sunday already, where did the time go?

Well, I will leave you with a pic of my son on his little quad. Doesn't he look cute in his helmet?

Weekend Stamping

I hope that everyone had a good weekend. Mine was very peaceful even though it went fast. My stepkids went to their mom's and my baby spent some time with my mom so I had a little time to stamp!
I made this card for Beate's weekend sketch and I thought it would be nice for a friend of mine who's having a baby shower next weekend. The paper is Basic Grey Oh Baby Girl. The stork stamp is Amuse and the sentiment is from SU. I used CTMH Lilac Mist and the ribbon is Maya Road.
I used similar colors for this card but I used Sarah paper from SU. The ribbon, cardstock and ribbon is CTMH. I cuttlebugged the lilac mist cardstock. I used my Verve Visual set Fancy Florals for the Image. This card also is based on Beate's weekend sketch.

I used the CPS sketch from last week for this card. The patterend paper is from Fancy Pants and I used Autumn Terracotta ink and cardstock. The ribbon is from SU. Stamps are Verve Visual.

I really like the way the sentiments look in Verve Visual's Fancy Florals set. I made this sympathy card using 1st and second generation stamping with CTMH cranberry and new england ivy ink. I sponged a little new england ivy around the images for a little pizzazz. I think it's a simple but elegant card perfect for a sympathy card.

I just received my little photo box from ebay and this is the first time I've used it. I love it! It was under 20 bucks and it's really small, perfect for taking pictures of cards. I think my pictures look so much better! Don't forget blog candy ends on Wednesday. Hope you all have a great week.

I used the Holiday Stamp from Amuse and two random pieces of X-mas paper that I got from Michaels. The ribbon is CTMH. I don't know if you can tell from the pic but I used 3D puff paint for snow. This is a 4.5 x 4.5 sized card.
