RAK's Thank you!

I wanted to say Thank You! to some wonderful blogging friends who sent me these beautiful cards. The first is from my real friend Melissa. Who has a fun blog here. She not only sent me this gorgeous shabby chic card which I love but gifts for my new baby! Thank you Melissa!
This second RAK is from Blue Moon. There isn't any stamping on this card but I just absolutely love how she used the patterned paper and chipboard. It's just gorgeous!

I have been very fortunate to receive RAKS from two of my wonderful blogger friends.

The first RAK is from Norma. Love that little zebra, thanks so much for thinking of me and my family Norma!

The second RAK is from Julie who sent me this lovely card to congratulate me and my family on our new baby. Thanks so much for thinking of us Julie!

My good friend Mary (from grad school!), sent me the cutest little outfit for Lily. She's a huge Peanuts collector so I expected something Snoopy oriented or possible U of Arizona oriented since that's where we went to school.

This is what she sent, isn't the cutest little outfit?

Happy Mail and a layout

First, I wanted to say thank you for the happy mail. I received two lovely cards in the mail. The first is from Jennifer Taylor. I received this card a couple of weeks ago but I kept forgetting to take a picture of it.

Isn't pretty? I have it posted on my bulletin board!

This card is from Tracy for some heart candy she won. Isn't cute and cheerful?

Now onto my layout for my baby's book.

Who says you can't use pink and periwinkle on a boy's page? Tyler was about six months old and my mom really wanted to take him on the carousel.
The lettering was done with my Cricut, I think I used the George cartridge. Do you see that tiny carousel? It's Quick Kutz and I used my cuttlebug to diecut it. What a pain - a lot of little pieces but I used something in my collection that I hadn't used yet. The paper is Cutie Pie by CTMH. The layout inspiration came from my CTMH Reflections book. Happy Holidays and Thank You!

Happy Holidays Everyone! I'm getting ready to go my mom's for some yummy dinner but first I wanted to say thank you for all of the lovely cards that I have received. Here are a few of them.
This first one is a Christmas card from my wonderful grad school friend, Melissa.

This is a thank you RAK from Tammy, a winner of one of my heart candy's.

This cute snowman card is from Cathy Meyers. Thank you!

This tag is from Tanya, a past candy winner.

This one is from Regina. I just love how she used punches! Isn't that fun? I hope to post the paperback album I made for my mom for Christmas this week, so stay tuned for that. I think it came out super cute!

Enjoy your holidays everyone!

I love this Tilda!

I don't know if you all have seen these super cute stamps from a company called Magnolia Stamps. I think it's a Norwegian company? Anyway, I had won some blog candy months ago at Sillybirds Stamping Diary. I received a couple of images and just got around to using one.

Isn't she just darling. This is a very simple layout. I used paper from my DCWV mat stack. I colored her in with copics, tied off with CTMH grosgrain ribbon and snowflake bling from some other candy I had won. Since I didn't have the original stamp, it was hard to paper piece her dress but I thought the blue by itself was so plain so I used my Bella Baubles to add some dimension to her dress. I used gold stickles on her hat.

I would love more images from this company! I plan on buying some with my income tax money but I can't wait. Is there anyone who will RAK me? I'm willing to trade. Just email me ....

I also received this super cute RAK from Pegg who also sent me some images that I did not have including the very cute Stampendous stamp she used on this card. I just love the colors and the stamp is darling. Thank you so much Pegg from brightening up my mail box!

Don't forget there is still time to sign up for blog candy!
