Keep Your Fin Up

Hi everyone,
I am back with another card share. Now, I had made a video for this and when I went to upload, I discovered that it hadn't taped properly. Oh well~ The card is a CASE of a card that I saw on the Scrappy Mom's blog.

The paper is from Echo Park and my cute fish is Create a Critter. The wave is a die from the Flip Flop dies from Stamps of Life and the sentiment is Scrappy Mom's. The paper really makes it in my opinion.

Thanks for visiting today,

Grin and Bear It

HI everyone,
Happy Saturday. I thought that I would sneak in and post a card that I made for the Scrappy Mom's challenge. The theme this week is bling it up.

On Thursday, I went to the Scrapbook Expo and scored big time on some Echo Park paper. A haul video will be up in a little bit! In the meantime here is my card:

Unfortunately for me, the sentiment is kind of words for me to live by!

I even made a video for you all to see the recipe and see how it all gets put together.

Just waiting for my children to get back, I have to take Lils to yet another birthday party! That girl has a busier social life than me by far! Have a great day everyone.

Valentine Sweet Treats

Hi everyone,
I have some cute Valentine projects that I will also be using for some challenges. The first was just an experiment in using the Print and Cut feature on the Silhouette. Being a die hard Cricut user for the last 5 years, I can really see what the fuss is about because once you figure out the ins and outs of making the print function work right, it is seriously amazing! So I went a little nuts and printed a bunch of stuff out! This first project is just some candy in some small bags with a little topper that I am giving to my student volunteers. I have some real sweeties this year!

The cute little mailbear is from the Silhouette store.

My next two projects are altered mailboxes. I saw on someone's blog (is it you? let me know so that I can link to you...) that they had altered these plastic Target mailboxes (not the metal ones). I was so excited to find the last two at my local Target and alter them very simply.

For this one, I used Jaded Blossom stamps for the sentiment and for decorating the bottom of the Hershey kisses, aren't they super cute! This one is for my Lily. I will be adding this one to the Jaded Blossom challenge.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's and this cute Silhouette Store doggie is for my big boy Tyler. He is still little enough to appreciate mom's projects. What's inside you say? Just some Hershey kisses and a fun ball that lights up when it hits the ground. They are so easy to please at this age! I will be adding this to the Scrappy-Mom's challenge.

Last but not least, I was in the top 3 at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons challenge!
