This one is from Regina. I just love how she used punches! Isn't that fun? I hope to post the paperback album I made for my mom for Christmas this week, so stay tuned for that. I think it came out super cute!
Enjoy your holidays everyone!
Pin It Now!Both cards are basically the same except for the color scheme. I used all CTMH papers and inks except I colored the giraffes using my copics!
Don't forget about the blog candy. I pull a name on Wednesday. Also, I think that this is probably my last candy of 2007, but don't worry, I'll be back in 2008 with more candy. I just need a mini vacation from it....
Pin It Now!To win, just comment here on this post by Wednesday 12/19. Let me know what you plan on cooking/eating for the holidays!
Will be posting some new things this weekend! Talk to you soon.
Pin It Now!I used my DCWV Christmas stack. The sentiment is Michaels 1.00 stamp.
Isn't she just darling. This is a very simple layout. I used paper from my DCWV mat stack. I colored her in with copics, tied off with CTMH grosgrain ribbon and snowflake bling from some other candy I had won. Since I didn't have the original stamp, it was hard to paper piece her dress but I thought the blue by itself was so plain so I used my Bella Baubles to add some dimension to her dress. I used gold stickles on her hat.
I would love more images from this company! I plan on buying some with my income tax money but I can't wait. Is there anyone who will RAK me? I'm willing to trade. Just email me ....
I also received this super cute RAK from Pegg who also sent me some images that I did not have including the very cute Stampendous stamp she used on this card. I just love the colors and the stamp is darling. Thank you so much Pegg from brightening up my mail box!
Don't forget there is still time to sign up for blog candy!
Pin It Now!I got this idea from Lauren over at My Time. Target sells a lot of very nice gift ideas that can be altered and personalized. This is Sm'ores pretzel rods and I just altered the original can it came in by covering it with Figgy Pudding Basic Grey. I stamped on a white panel the crab from the Sandy Claws stamp set by Gina K Designs. I tied the white panel around the can using red grosgrain ribbon.
I also decorated the top of the can very simply. I cut cranberry cardstock using my cuttlebug and scalloped nestabilities and circle was cut with the circle nestabilities. I stamped very simply using Punchy Words and Sandy Claws all from Gina K.
I decorated this tin using Paper Trey Ink. The colors are Olive and Cranberry. The paper I used was Figgy Pudding Basic Grey.
I hope that my Secret Elf enjoys her package!
Here are the treats that I received my secret elf Marla. Thank you Marla. I appreciate your lovely package!
I also got a wonderful RAK with some images but I will have to post it later because I forgot to take a picture of it. Hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend!
I used this beautiful crystal blue textured cardstock by CTMH along with black and white daisy. I embossed with my snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder, tied off with a white grosgrain ribbon from my stash. I used my copics to color him in, just outlining Frosty with cool grey and I used my Stardust Sakura gelly roll pen to outline the snow and make him sparkle. I love how he turned out and will be putting this card on all of the gifts that I send to friends and family.
Don't forget to post a comment on the post below for heart candy!
Pin It Now!I used the Bundle of Joy stamp set from SU. I colored in the little bear with my copics and outlined him in a light gray for shadowing. I used CTMH Indian Corn Blue and Buttercup for the cardstock and the DP is retired SU I think it's called Sarah. I also used a sketch found on poeticartistry.blogspot.com. Very easy, just a little more cutting than usual. The sample on the site was a 6x6 card, I think but I wanted something smaller so this is 41/4 x 41/4 so it would fit in a standard envelope.
I hope that everyone had a relaxing holiday and that you got ahead on your holiday shopping/crafting. I usually do a lot of online shopping but this year unfortunately it's 50/50 so I have to brave the stores this year!
Don't forget about the Black Friday Heart Candy, post your comment below!
Pin It Now!The first winner will win this MFT Think Pink stamp set.
I somehow agreed to make 50 of these for my husband's co-workers. I think this one came out super cute. Only 49 more to go! I used my DCWV paper pack and my Christmas treats stamp set from Paper Trey Ink. I used the colors Hollyhock and Crystal Blue.
This a RAK I received from Angel for some blog candy she won from me.
The colors are Petal and Crystal Blue. What's very cool is that the cardstock was embossed with dots and then sandpaper was used to make it look like snow. Because CTMH cardstock has white core when you sand it, it exposes the white paper and can give a very cool effect.
Don't forget to comment for blog candy!
Pin It Now!I love how this card came out. I used Basic Grey paper that I got in blog candy. The stamp is Doodle Happy Holidays from Stampendous. I used ric rac I got in blog candy and the larger eyelets are CTMH. I corner rounded the bottom corners. I colored in with copics and used some stickles for bling.
Have a great weekend everybody!
Pin It Now!Here I made a little ornament using one of these small round tins. The background paper is I think Basic Grey, I got it in blog candy this week. I used one of my cute stickers from the $1 bin and I used cardstock to pop it up. I used my Crop-a-dile to punch holes, it was like butter. I found that my ribbon was a little off-center though so I think next time I will punch my holes for my ribbon first and then decorate my tin so I can center it better.
Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for Friday's Heart Candy!
Pin It Now!I used all CTMH products for this card and another sketch from Angel. I just cuttlebugged Indian Corn Blue cardstock and attached a layer of dp from CTMH's Rough and Tumble paper pack. The stamp is from Little Boys. Inside I just stamped Happy Birthday. Super easy, 10 minute card. That's all I have had time for so far this week. But I figure my husband owes me with the whole jambalaya thing so I will be cashing in and giving him baby duty so I have some time to stamp!
Now onto what people really came to the blog to see today. The winner! Well first, a little housekeeping and a vent. Last week's winner never contacted me. Doesn't appear to be a regular visitor with my site which is fine - part of blog candy is to get new people to come visit and say hi. But if you participate in blog candy, come back and see if you've won. I keep a little log with the date to check back if I'm not a subscriber to that blog and the blog address and visit to see if I've won or maybe one of my new blog mates has won.
The winner of the lovely gift certificate is Tanya from PaperFix. Please contact me and verify the email address to send your candy too. If I don't hear from Tanya by noon Friday I will pick a new name!
Be sure to check back on Friday when I will have another wonderful Heart Candy Giveaway and stay tuned because I will give away surprise RAKS and a Super Heart Candy Giveaway at my next milestone.
I hope that everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!
