Heart Candy is Here!

First, I have not heard yet from the winner of last week's candy. Please email me by Saturday midnight or I will draw another name! This week's candy is another acrylix stamp set called Doodle Alphabet. It was a stamp of the month and is not yet available in the catalog.

All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post. You can just say hi, tell me what projects you are working on, what you're doing on this long ( if you're in the states) holiday weekend. I gotta figure that my International friends don't celebrate President's Day! We're probably going to go into LA and eat, maybe go to Santa Monica Pier and Third Street Promenade to shop, eat, and hang out! Nothing too crazy!Did you check out the new Paper Trey Ink Release? They have some fabulous new stamps and products. I'm pretty sure I qualify for the free anniversary set. If you buy 12 unique stamp sets from them in a year, you can get their next free anniversary set next year.

I'm already thinking about Mother's Day and have started making a small gift for my Grandmother, a set of Thank You and Note cards to use throughout the year.

On all of these, I used CTMH Lilac Mist Cardstock, black and Desert Sand ink. The dp is retired SU called Spring Showers. Her first initial is an L in case you were wondering. I used my scallop, square and circle nestabilities . The stamp sets used were Paper Trey Ink Trajan Monogram and the square and circle border and corners sets.

This one turned out to be my favorite! I'm probably going to make her 8-12 cards, some duplicates but some just a little bit different. I hope to show you how I'm packaging them this weekend. Talk to you all soon!

Pin It Now!

Thanks for this offer. I love the fact that there are 2 of each letter, so if you want to make up a word you can.
At the moment I've had a mini break from crafting as I've had lots of professional violin playing engagements this week, but can't wait to get back to my little table!

I'll have no time for cardmaking this weekend. Tomorrow I have to go to a wedding ceremony at noon, to the party in the evening, and on Sunday I'll probably be to tired to do anything.

Hello, I am working on St Patrick day cards. I am not Irish nor do I have an actual patty's stamp. I have a hedgehog holding a basket of flowers that I am turning into a basket of clovers. It's alot of work to cut out tiny little clovers. But I enjoy it or I wouldn't do it.
Tommorrow I am heading out of town to attend a scrapbooking mania. It will be my first scrapbook mania. I am dreading and looking forward to it. I am a stamper before I am a scrapbooker. My mom keeps trying to convert me! Tommorrow may just be the day We'll see. Have a great day and thanks for the chance at the candy! It looks like a great set.

No, we don't celebrate President Day in Canada but we have a "Family Day" here in Calgary Alberta and it just happens to fall on the two days of Teacher's Conferance so my kids have 5 days off this weekend. My son just brought home a leopard gecko for his birthday... she is really cute! I have been doing a lot of journaling lately and some cards.
Thanks for offering this set - I love it.

Oh I LOVE your blog candy!! I want! :) I am working on some favor ideas right now for a Christian Womens Retreat. We meet in March to go over our ideas. Retreat is in September. We have some really good stamper ladies on our team...so I'm always alittle intimidated in showing my stuff. I'm still learning how to use stamps properly.
Thanks for all your work you show...it's really helpful to me.
And holiday...nope, we work. It's a good day for us to get kids come in to the Dentist so we never close.
