Happy Valentine's Day 2013
Hi everyone,
Happy Valentine's Day! I am so proud of myself. I actually mailed 3 Valentine's cards to friends. I boxed another 3 cards to friends here at work and I set out 4 cards with treats for my family! It feels good to actually use what I make! Today, it's the Just-a-scrappin challenge day. The challenge this week is to make a Valentine's Day card but not to use the color red. So what to do? Use the next best thing, PINK! Be sure to watch the video to get the recipe and see how it all gets put together. Also, you will start noticing little "pin it" buttons next to my projects so if you want to pin it, it's now super easy!

Kids Valentines Card
HI everyone,
I have a quick post today for a couple of challenges. For CardzTV, the challenge was to to create 3x3 kids Valentine's card and the Fantabulous Cricut challenge this week is to link up any Valentine's projects. I was hoping to do some crafting today...I had the day off and my kids still had school...but wouldn't you know it we had a power outage! The power eventually came back up and I had just enough time to make these cute little cards before I had to pick up my kids!
Pin It Now!
I used Create a Critter for the bee and the owl card and sweethearts for the puppy card. The cards are 3x3 and I used red cardstock and paper from the Love Story paper from Fancy Pants Designs. I used some stickles and sentiments from Pink by Design and My Pink Stamper.
Thanks for looking today.

My card and image were both cut from the Child's Year cartridge. They were cut at 3.9 inches. My paper is from Fancy Pants Designs. I used a small amount of doodling and some red stickles.

Smell the Flowers
Hi everyone,
I've got a fun card to share with you all.
Pin It Now!
I made another card usind the hexagon plate and coordinating mini stamp set. This time I used different colors of blue. The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink and the flower is cut at 3.5 and is from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. I did a bit of doodling and some stickles. I think that it came out pretty. I think this is my new favorite thing. But I can't keep making my own background paper when I have tons of paper in my stash that needs to get used!

Have a Sunny Day
HI everyone,
Today I have my post for the Just-a-scrappin challenge blog. The challenge was to use embossing and a "quilt" style. I wasn't sure about the quilt style but I really like what I was able to come up with.
Pin It Now!
Isn't cute? When I have some time, I will make a video to show you what I did. Paper Trey Ink sells a cutting plate that makes this hexagon pattern and I used the cutout as a template which I placed over white paper. Then I used the coordinating stamp set in different colors - yellow, pink, rose red and red to create the pattern. The stamp set for the sentiment is from Pink by Design. The sun is from Create a Critter and is cut at 3.0. I used some stickles around the sun rays because I thought it needed some bling. The base cardstock is pink and is embossed with the swiss dots folder.
This is a super fun technique and I think it creates some really fun cards! I will most definitely be using this again. Be sure to visit the challenge blog to join the challenge.
Thanks for visting.

With Sympathy
I think that these are my least favorite cards to make and I generally never have any on hand. This card was made for my cousin's father-in-law who passed away. He had been ill for awhile so it wasn't unexpected but still very sad. I looked through my collection of cuttlebug folders and decided on this one ( I don't know the name, why doesn't Provocraft label these?) and embossed the entire front of a plain white A2 card. I had this plum dp in my stash and cut out a butterfly with my SU sizzlets and stamped the Papertrey ink sentiment in a coordinating color. I think that it turned out very elegant and simple which was the look that I was going for.

Disney Mini Album
Hi everyone,
I am here today to share a Christmas present that I made for my mom. It was based on the Retro mini album tutorial from Kathy Orta at Paper Phenomenon.
It took awhile to make, close to 40 hours or so to make. I cut a ton of Disney so you know that took a while. I hope that you enjoy it!
Hope that you enjoy it!

Snowman thank you
Hi everyone,
Today I have my project for the Just-a-Scrappin challenge blog. The challenge was to make a project using a snowman, buttons and ribbon.
This is the last card using this retired SU paper. The cut is from Winter Frolic cut at 3.5 and the mat is also cut at 3.5 from Elegant Edges. I did some embossing with my swiss dots embossing folder and used glitter stickles on the snowman to indicate snow. The buttons are from SU and I think they add a nice touch. The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink and I used this card for a winter thank you card.
Be sure to visit the blog to join the challenge. Thanks for visiting.

Yummy!
Hi everyone,
Today's card is fun! I am using the Fast Food cartridge. I love the Cricut lites, they cut great and layer so easily, plus the images are super cute. It's a holiday weekend for us so I hope to get some crafting done. My step daughter is getting her wisdom teeth removed so I am in charge of getting her to and from the hospital so that part will not be fun. Be sure to watch the video to get the recipe and see how it all gets put together.
Enjoy!

Snowflake Thank You
Hi everyone,
Today's card is for the Just-a-Scrappin challenge blog. The challenge this week is to create a snowflake card, using lots of bling.
Pin It Now!
I used silver glitter paper to cut this snowflake out from the CTMH cartridge (Artiste?) at 3.5. I also used a green gliter brad from SU. The ribbon is sheer white from SU and the paper is retired SU and I think that I finally used it all up. Yes! I love when I used up old stuff and this paper is probably 5 years old. I also used this card for a thank you card!
Thanks for visiting today and be sure to visit the blog to join the challenge.

Hi everyone,
First, I want to show you guys the project for today. Be sure to watch the video to get the recipe and see how it all gets put together.

One of my Youtube subscribers kindly reminded me that this cut is from Live Simply.
Now onto the New Year's Resolutions. I usually have the same ones and pretty much break them around spring time!
The first is to use my stash. This I mean! For real! We just booked (a very expensive!) Hawaiian vacation for the summer. So I got to cut back which means that at some point, I will probably go crazy and buy everything I want and more. I did make my resolution to do videos and to grow my blog so I will continue to work on those goals. I want to better my body - so eat better and lose some weight and better my mind - read more! Do any of you have some goals for the new year?
Leave a comment here and I will be giving away a prize package - I got tons of 6x6 paper pads and stamps so it will a collection of these items - whatever fits in the envelope! So leave a comment here and I will select a winner on January 21.

Snow Boy Thank You
Hi everyone,
Today is my post for the Just-a-Scrappin challenge blog. The challenge this week is to use a new technique or style. I have been collecting mist sprays for awhile but have yet to use one. So I used October Afternoon's sprinklers on my mat in this minty green color.
My snow boy is cut at 3.5 from the Winter Frolic cartridge. I also used retired SU Christmas paper from my stash. I don't think the paper has a name it was in a scrappin pack from SU. I tied off a little red twine in a red button and used a sentiment from Paper Trey Ink. I used this card for a thank you card.
I really enjoyed the mist. It made a smaller mess than I thought and it took a small amount of time to dry. If you haven't used these sprays be for, I encourage you all to give it a try.

Tree thank you
Hi everyone,
I have a winter Christmas card for you all. It's a good way to use up extra Christmas cuts and Christmas paper. I don't know about you but I always have lots of Christmas paper to use up and I like to use up as much as I can because I know that there will be a cuter stuff that comes out that I want!
Pin It Now!
I used retired SU paper. I think its called Ski Slope. I have had for about two years so I really need to use it up. The tree is from Winter Woodland (I think?). I used silver glimmer paper to cut out the snow which is my new favorite thing. The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink and the the mat is cut at 3.75 from Elegant Edges. I used this card as a thank you card.

I Hope You Dance
Hi everyone,
Its back to the grindstone (work!) today. I have a cute card for you today!
I used an old Basic Gray paper pad. The cut is from the Twinkle Toes Cricut Cartridge, cut at 3.25 and the mat is cut from Elegant Edges at 3.25. I doodled with my white gel pen and the face is stamped with Peachy Keen stamps. The sentiment is from Pink by Design. I think she turned out very cute and would be a great card for one of my daughter's dance teachers.
Thanks so much for visiting today.
