Welcome to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog "Red, White, and Blue" Cricut Crawl.

In honor of the 4th of July holiday, we're having a Red, White and Blue Crawl.  Each Design Team member has created a fabulous project using Red, White and Blue as the main colors, and of course at least one Cricut cut!

CTMH Convention Updates

Cutters Creek Design Team Project - Thank you

Hi everyone, Today I am sharing my Cutter's Creek Design Team project. Kim, the owner of Cutter's Creek store has a Yahoo Store Group. She offers all different types of clubs for her customers. There are adhesive clubs, embossing clubs, ink pad clubs. I joined the most recent clubs, 6x6 paper pad club and the Anna Griffin Cuttlebug folder club. This month I recieved the 6x6 paper pads This and That and For the Record 2 by Echo Park. I also received the Anna Griffin cuttlebug folders Foundry and Mayfair Floral. These folders are absolutely gorgeous. I thought that it would be fun to create a project using all of my new goodies.



I used the Art Philopsophy Cricut Cartridge for the flower. I cut is at 2.0, 1.75, 1.5, inked the edges with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink and attached it with a brad. Be sure to email Kim if you are interested in any of these products or visit the store for other products.

Cow's it Going?

Hi everyone, I have another post for today. I decided to do a challenge for the Craftin Desert Diva's blog. The challenge is At the Barnyard. I used a cow from the Everyday PaperDolls cartridge which doesn't have any layers so I had to make my own. Be sure to watch the video to get the receipe and se ehow it all gets put together.

My 5 year blogoversary is here, my 40th birthday is around the corner and my sweet baby just turned 5 so be looking for some blog candy by next week. I just got back from a family trip to Hawaii which was so incredible that my husband was looking for jobs in Hawaii so we could stay, hah! It would cost too much to move all of my scrapping stuff so sunny California is just fine, for now!

My wedding mini

Hi everyone, I have another scrapbook mini but this one has pictures from my brother's wedding. I used the chunky mini album tutorial from Scrapbook Giggles on Youtube. I really didn't care for it but it was still fun to use another style of album.

With Sympathy

Hi everyone, I have a sympathy card for you. I had to go to a service a little while back and I made this card for his family. He was a friend from high school who died in an accident. Very sad. I usually don't have sympathy cards on hand because it seems like tempting fate so this was one of the cards that I made the day before.

The sentiment is from the Something to REmember. The paper is from I think My Minds Eye and the butterfly is from Create a Critter. The mat is elegant edges. I think it's simple but still a nice card.

Cutters Creek Post - Wedding Card

Hi everyone, Thanks for visiting my Cutter's Creek Design Team post. For my project, I decided to make a wedding card. I don't go to a lot of weddings but on occasion I have need of a card or I am asked by my sister to make her a card so it's nice to have one on hand. I used some scraps from a wedding album that I made and the swiss dots cuttlebug folder. I also used stickles and a pearl. I attached my flower to my card using Fabric Tac but 3M Scotch Quick Dry works equally well. My car is from the SweetHearts Cricut Cartridge and my flower is from the CTMH Artiste cartridge.

Cakewalk Mini Album

Hi everyone,

I have another mini album to share with you. I don't have a video for this one because I gave it away before I was able to make one. I made it for my sister ---her daughter had a 4th birthday party. I put a few charms in it and pictures and I kept it fairly simple but embellished the cover of the album a bit.










I used October Afternoon Cakewalk paper and embellishments and cards and envelopes from Michaels for the album.

Craft Store Haul

Hi everyone, Happy Sunday. We just got back from a little birthday lunch for my step-daughter. She's been working some crazy Disneyland shifts so we had to get it in before we didn't see her for ahwile lol. I have a little haul video for you today.

I have a busy week getting ready for our vacation. I am getting Lily a little hair trim -- her hair is so long and she has to go to the Dr. to check on her leg. She went to the Dr. last week and got a routine immunization. Two days later, it was this giant red and painful bump so I had to take her to the ER. It was something called cellulitis caused by a staph or strep bacterial infection under the skin. Very nasty and something to be taken seriously. She has anti-biotics and I want to make sure that it is healing properly. She did not say anything about it, I noticed it when I was giving her a bath. Just a reminder that if we notice anything out of the ordinary with our children it's better to be safe and overly cautious than not! Thanks for watching today! Pin It Now!

Superdad

Hi everyone, I bought a few digital images from Cricut. I had to get the "superdad" image. Superman is my husband's favorite superhero. This is a super easy card to make.

I added some stickles to "dad" and I mounted it on some navy cardstock. So fun!

FCCB Challenge #163 Ribbons, Ruffles and Bows

Hi everyone, Welcome to FCCB Challenge #163 Ribbons, Ruffles and bows - use two types of ribbon on your card. For my card I used lace, tulle for her skirt and a small piece of satin ribbon. This cute cut is from the Twinkle Toes cartridge, a must if you have a little girl taking dance. I cut her out at 3.5 inches. The paper is from My Mind's Eye. I used some buttons and a peachy keen face!

It has been a whirlwind of a month! My stepdaughter graduated from college, Lily turned 5 and my school year just ended. Today, is my first official day of summer vacation and I am taking Lily to Disneyland. Sort of her last birthday hurrah and just a fun day to spend with her mama. I haven't quite planned out my crafting schedule but I always try and work ahead in the summer and I hope to catch up on some projects!
