Resolutions on track so far...

I have continued to work on my baby's one year album and have probably about 6 2-page layouts left. Also, I have decided to select one stamp or stamp set that I have bought but remains virgin (uninked) each week or so and create with it. I have so many stamps that I haven't used it's ridiculous. This decision follows under my resolution to use what I have!

So for the next couple of days you will see creations made with My Favorite Things Boho Blossoms.

I made two cards that are very similar. They were inspired by a card by Laura Canale that I saw on Splitcoaststampers.

This card is more close to a CASE except I used the heart stamp instead of the flower. The background stamped with SU French Script. I used colonial edge scissors, now retired, also from SU. I added a little bling from my stash for the middle of the heart.

This card uses the flower stamp from the set and the layout is the same. However, I used my cuttlebug script embossing for the background. Both cards used the CTMH colors of Black and Colonial White.

I am not sure which card I like better, if I had to pick, probably the second one. I think the first card would make a lovely wedding card and the second would be a nice card to slip in my husband's laptop case. So which card do you like best?

I do like them both and congratulate you on working with supplies you have on hand.

my eye is drawn a little more to the second card, mostly because the flower seems to be standing out more than the heart in the previous one. The heart seems to be fading into the background almost. What if you inked the edges of each in black ink?

The stamps are gorgeous though and I love what you have created. Thanks for sharing.

Wow-both are gorgeous! I like the first one- maybe because I have Valentine's and hearts on my mind. I like the other poster's suggestion of inking the edges! I just bought this set so I will have to case you :) Happy for you you are keeping to your resolutions!!!

They are both gorgeous, but I think I like the first one better. I like how you stamped with the script background instead of using the cuttlebug script folder because it shows up more. ANd it's my fave background! I have had the Boho Blossoms on my wishlist for a while - you may have just convinced me to get it! Thanks for sharing :)

Well, from both of them which are
equally as pretty, I think I would choose the second one. The flower
pops more and I like the added dimension of the cuttlebug texture.

Both cards are nice, but I especially like the second one. The flower stamp looks so crisp with the black and white. Thanks for sharing.
