MFT Idol Judge Contest & Winner

Sorry I haven't posted a creation since Sunday. I've just been busy working on this project for MFT. They are having a MFT Idol contest, like American Idol, this week they are challenging anyone to create a top notch project using their stamps so that's what I've been working on. So here is my project.

For the MFT Idol Judge Challenge, I made paper dolls! I used the "nugget" tins that were so popular last year to create a case to house my dolls. The front of the tin is decorated using Maine Blueberry SU paper, SU buttons and The Works Alphabet by CTMH.On the back of the tin, I adhered a trimmed down clear envelope to house removable backgrounds for my doll to "play" on. The dolls, outfits, etc are from MFT's Isabelle Paper Dolls Stamp set.

This is one of the backgrounds that I created for my dolls to play on. This background is a beach scene. I used Maine Blueberry SU DP for the background. The waves are made for Pacific Point Cardstock and the steam part of the cup stamp from Bunny Slippers. The kraft "sand" has shells from By the Seashore. The cloud is from Rain or Shine and the birds stamped on it as well as the seagull are both from By the Seashore. My doll is wearing a mermaid outfit that has some glitter on it and is colored with copics

For this background, I used MFT's Meet Me at the Cafe for the cafe sign and awning. The table was from Window Shopping. The dp is from SU.

This background was created using SU Urban Garden DP. The MFT stamp set here was Going Places.

This background is just a plain piece of Haiku DP so the dolls can do whatever they want!

MaryBeth you are the winner~ Please email me with your address. My email is on the side under my picture. Don't forget to check back on Friday with another heart candy!
