Christmas Cheer

Hi everyone,
Merry Christmas Eve! We will be over at my parents' house this evening to celebrate with my entire family. To keep the kids occupied, I am taking them to John's Incredible Pizza which is kind of like Chuck E Cheese. I also have to make a chocolate cake!

Today's project is a new ongoing project I hope to continue in the new year and another way that I am using up my Christmas stuff while it's out taking up space on my desk. First, I have a ton of Julie Nutting Prima Doll stamps which I love but I don't really use much. I bought one of the small art journals and will be doing a fun art journal book using the dolls. This is the first page inspired by Nicole Magourik. Her blog and projects are super fab.
The sentiment is from Mama Elephant "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is to sing loud for all to hear." The dog is from Simon Says Stamp. I think it came out cute and who says all new things have to start in the new year!

Thanks for visiting today.

PDE Linky Party #14 Tags

Hi everyone,
Welcome to another Linky Party at Pause Dream Enjoy.

Here is my project today.

I used one of the new Julie Nutting card size stamp sets "Merci" for this tag/card. I paperpieced my girl and used some lace and a Prima flower. Fun and easy and Lily loves all of the lace!

Thanks for visiting today. I hope that you all have time to join in the challenge.

PDE Linky Party #8 Anything Goes

Hi everyone.
It's time for another challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy!
Here is my project:
I just love these Prima dolls by Julie Nutting. Of course they are meant to be all mixed media like and I have used some sprays here but overall I think that it still combines elements of my usual style. If you are every feeling in a rut try something new! I just love how it came out and I think I might put this card in the mailbox of a lovely friend who has been very supportive of me these last few months.

I hope that you will all find some time to join in the challenge!

And, of course, Happy tax day! (Only mild scarcasm intended!)

Party Girl

Hi everyone,
I am so in love with Prima dolls. I have just about every one and am actually using them for an art journal book that I started to help me get through a very rough patch in my life. They make me really late.
I used paper from Simple Stories and one of the mini card sized stamp sets from Julie Nutting. I used a studio calico butterfly that I used distress paints. I just love it! So much fun to piece these dolls. It's not my usual style but I think it's nice to break out of a crafting routine.

Thanks so much for visiting today.

Cutters Creek DT Halloween Tag

Hi everyone, Today it's my turn to post on the Cutter's Creek blog. I have seen tons of cute Halloween tags on Youtube and decided to make one myself. But...I have to have some kind of practical use for it so I decided to add it to a giftbag for my sister's birthday. Her birthday is the day after Halloween so it works!

Isn't fun? I covered a plain white giftbag with some G45 paper and then made my tag using Prima Paper Doll stamp and tag, some Cricut cuts, stickles, lace and some other odds and ends. Be sure to watch the video!
