S'more Shaker Card

Hi everyone,
 I almost forgot to post my favorite Valentine's Day project - this cute little S'more shaker card. I show you how to make a shaker card in what I think is an easy way to do it. So if you have been a bit scared to try it, watch my video you will see that it is super easy. I use transparency plastic which I get from Amazon. It's much cheaper than acetate.

Winter Crafting Series #3

12 Days of Christmas - Day 6

Hi everyone,
Welcome to Day 6 of the 12 Days of Christmas. This morning I am going with my kids to my Grandma's boarding care. She has dementia and has been living there for about a year. Anyway, they are having a holiday party so we are going to celebrate a bit with her and them I have no idea what we are going to get into.

Today, I am sharing two cards made using the Winter Unicorn stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I love how inexpensive the stamp set and die are, yet you can still make some amazing cards with it.

I cased the card with the 3 unicorns on it from Pinterest and both cards use Lawn Fawn plaid paper stacks. I also have been playing with Nuvo glitter paste, that stuff is seriously fun!

Donut Worry

Hi everyone,
I have a fun little card using Lawn Fawn stamps. They have quite a few of these mini stamps which are super cute and also super economical price wise.

This is a case of  a card I saw on Pinterest. I stamped each doughnut and colored in with copics. I then used glossy accents on top of the doughnut so that it looks like shiny glaze.

You're a hoot

Hi everyone,
I have a Mother's Day card for you, a little late one. I used a Lawn Fawn stamp set for this card.

The paper pad is also Lawn Fawn and the ink pads too. I am enjoying using colored pads a little bit more too. I usually stamp everything in black and then color it in or paper piece so its nice to use ink pads along with my mini misti!

Thank you Cards Project Share

Hi everyone,
I made some simple thank you cards to use for the kids to write cards to thank relatives for their Easter gifts. I was too lazy to take pictures of them all, or just too tired. Isn't kind of the same thing? Anyway, I did make a video of them which was easier than taking pictures of them all. I used mostly scraps for these cards.

25 Days of Christmas - Day 15

Hi everyone,
Welcome to the 25 Days of Christmas, Day 15. I don't know if any of you shop at yourscrapbooksupply.com. Anyway, they had a 30% off sale of their entire site and so I bought some Lawn Fawn stamps that were already 25% off so it was a nice little deal. One of the stamp sets I bought was this cute Fleece Navidad. Now, I am in the middle of using up scrap and getting through some old paper pads so the rule is I am not allowed to open up a new pad until I use up the old and it is hard baby. So these colors are a little funky but I am challenging myself to use my stash.

Today, was also the first day of our little Secret Santa at work. My Secret Santa got me a bar of William Sonoma peppermint bark my absolute favorite! Yum. Now onto my card:

25 Days of Christmas - Day 2

Hi everyone,

Thanks for joining me for Day 2 of my 25 Days of Christmas 2015. Today's project uses the super cute Lawn Fawn Snow Days stamp set and paper from Echo Park. I have been suffering from sinus problems for a couple of weeks and have now developed into a full blown cold, scratchy throat and all. Hopefully, it will start getting better soon, better now than at Christmas.

Happy Day

Hello,

Do you ever make cards inspired by the scraps on your desk? That's kind of how this card came about. As I looked at the paper left from the stacks I was using, I came up with this card.

I used Lawn Fawn sunshine birds, die cuts and Mama Elephant Landscape trio. I colored in my birds with copics.

PDE Linky Party Challenge Any Animal

Hello everyone,
Today, starts another challenge at PDE Linky Party.

My card today was inspired by a card that I saw on Nichol Majouirk's blog.
I really love her style. Instead of just looking at blogs all day, I should do more of caseing and using ideas that I see because I think that's sort of the point!

Anyway, here is my card for the challenge and I hope that you will all join in the challenge.

I used my hearts cuttlebug folder and cut my sentiment out using my Cricut. I think the Art Philosophy cartridge. The cute hedgehogs were colored in with copics.

Hello Friend

Hi everyone,
Today's card is another shaker card. I consider it part of my shaker card series, even though there is no video for it as it was one of the first ones that I made, kind of trying out different methods. I used the exclusive stampember Simon Says Lawn Fawn set and Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

This was another Dance Competition weekend, the last for a little while. Thank goodness I have Monday off for President's Day!

Anyway, on to the card!

Aren't those little birds the cutest? I thought that it would make a cute Valentine for one of my co-workers.

CardzTV Challenge "Hearts"

Hi everyone,

 That's right it's time for another CardzTV card challenge. The theme this week is hearts. Be sure to visit Mary's blog to see all of the projects and join in the challenge. You could be the winner of a set of CardzTV stamps.

For my project this week, I decided to try my hand at a shaker card. They are super trendy right now and I can see why as they are fun to make and fun to play with! I used Mary's method of cutting out multiple die cuts and stacking them on top of each other to create enough depth for my sequins. I used a window die from Taylored Expressions. I also used a cute little birdie from Lawn Fawn.
My sentiment is from the CardzTV stamp set Birds and Bees.
