CardzTV Challenge: Only use 3 colors!

Hi everyone,

I am back with a CardzTv Challenge!

The challenge is to use only 3 colors not including black or white. I used gray, yellow and red along with black or white. I hope that you all join in the challenge at CardzTV and you have a chance to win a set of CardzTV stamps!

Appreciate You Teacher

Hi everyone,
Well, I have been seriously neglecting my blog but I have been so busy. I was lucky to get someone in to do some work on the house while the kids were still in school and it has just made such a huge difference but they were so slow and used up 3 of my days off and now my Lily has had a fever for 3 days but it looks like her fever broke and maybe tomorrow she will sleep in her own bed!

Anyway, I have a teacher thank you card to share. I made 3 cards with giftcards for each of the kids teachers. Lily has two teachers, they job share.

I used the Create a Friend Cricut cartridge for this and I have a short video showing you the recipe.

Clear Clouds on a Rainy Day

Hi everyone,
I am sharing a card that I originally made during my Stencils class. It was a great class by the way and I learned a lot of new techniques and saw a lot of fun products being demoed.

My card today uses a cloud stencil that  I got from Simon Says Stamp and the clear embossing paste. The paste goes on white and dries completely clear for a super cool look.

Be sure to watch the video to get the full recipe and see how it all gets put together. I think that it looks very much like rainy clouds!

Super Kid!

Hi everyone, I got a cute little card for you all today. I have been working through making some of the "friends" on Create a Friend.

I also used a cut from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge. I used some sparkly paper! I also have a video for you all!

Crafty Playtime Linky Party #1 : Balloons

HI everyone, Today begins new challenges at the former "Paper Playtime". Janis has combined her two challenges and it is now "Crafty Playtime".

 

The challenge will last for two weeks and you can enter as many projects as you like as long as they are all different. Top 3 will be chosen randomly at the end of each linky part.

 

Here is my project:

I am using my new Create a Friend cartridge. This cartridge is super cute! I used some MME Christmas paper! Ha, always looking for ways to stretch my Christmas paper. Now, I cut this at 3.25 and I cut the shadow which was a bit big so I had to do a tiny bit of trimming. The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's stamps which is the sponsor for FCCB this week.

I am also entering this card in the Anything Goes (but use stamping) challenge at Love to Scrap Challenge blog and Friday Linky party.
