PDE Linky Party #9 - Flowers

Hi everyone,

It's time for another Linky Party at Pause Dream Enjoy.
These challenges are so fun because you can make any kind of craft project using the theme! Here is my project:
I belong to the stamp and die club at Stamps of Life and I really like this daisy stamp set and the sentiments are fabulous too. I used paper from Simple Stories and my paper pad is nearly done on this one. It takes forever for me to kill a paper pad.

I hope that you will all join in the challenge. Thanks for visiting.

Clear Clouds on a Rainy Day

Hi everyone,
I am sharing a card that I originally made during my Stencils class. It was a great class by the way and I learned a lot of new techniques and saw a lot of fun products being demoed.

My card today uses a cloud stencil that  I got from Simon Says Stamp and the clear embossing paste. The paste goes on white and dries completely clear for a super cool look.

Be sure to watch the video to get the full recipe and see how it all gets put together. I think that it looks very much like rainy clouds!

Happy Easter 2014

Hi everyone!

Happy Easter! Today, my kids woke up to a small Easter basket filled with chocolate carrots and some Easter eggs from the Easter Bunny and some small gifts from me on the table. Needless to say, they were thrilled!

I am sharing the little baskets that I made using an SVG cut from the Silhouette Store.

These were so easy to put together. I used the Doodlebug spring paper pad and some cardstock from my stash and I just love how they came out.

Today, we are heading to my sister's house (a whole 2 miles away!) for an Easter egg hunt, bbq (did someone say carne asada?) and the kids are probably going to get a little slip and slide action in the backyard while I play with my 5 month old baby niece. It should be a super fun day and since my laundry is done, someone else is cooking and my house is reasonably clean, I can actually relax!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Cricut Bunny Card

Hi everyone,
I have a cute little bunny card to share. I had originally made the card for a sketch challenge and then changed my mind. I also didn't size my ovals correctly, they were actually eggs on the Easter cartridge but once I cut the scallop it hung off the side of the paper. Oh well, I guess that's what the Envelope punch board is for!

I was also experimenting with the Epiphany square punch and epoxy sticker maker. I show you guys in the video.

PDE Linky Party #8 Anything Goes

Hi everyone.
It's time for another challenge at Pause Dream Enjoy!
Here is my project:
I just love these Prima dolls by Julie Nutting. Of course they are meant to be all mixed media like and I have used some sprays here but overall I think that it still combines elements of my usual style. If you are every feeling in a rut try something new! I just love how it came out and I think I might put this card in the mailbox of a lovely friend who has been very supportive of me these last few months.

I hope that you will all find some time to join in the challenge!

And, of course, Happy tax day! (Only mild scarcasm intended!)

Party Girl

Hi everyone,
I am so in love with Prima dolls. I have just about every one and am actually using them for an art journal book that I started to help me get through a very rough patch in my life. They make me really late.
I used paper from Simple Stories and one of the mini card sized stamp sets from Julie Nutting. I used a studio calico butterfly that I used distress paints. I just love it! So much fun to piece these dolls. It's not my usual style but I think it's nice to break out of a crafting routine.

Thanks so much for visiting today.

HI everyone,
I haven't been around that much lately as my life is going through some major changes. Can't share yet but I hope to get back to crafting more! In the meantime, thanks so much for visiting and I have a quick and easy card using my Cameo to share.
I used the Print and cut feature on my Cameo which I love, so cool! Lily gave this to a classmate for her birthday.

Crafty Playtime Linky Party #7 3D Projects

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Crafty Playtime Linky Party. The challenge this week is to make a 3D Project.

I used Jaded Blossom favor boxes for the base of my project.
I used the print and cut function on my Silhouette and used a cut from Kadoodle Designs. My sentiment is from CardzTV Stamps. I put some yummy chocolate eggs from Cadbury. I had a hard time not eating these. Actually these are all that are left from the original package just enough to fill the container. I hope that you all have some time to join in the challenge.
