Wedding Box

Quick post today. Isn't this a cute box. It was a make and take from Sizzix. They had these ready to got and we got to take them with us and make the boxes at home. It's a box in the shape of a dress. Very cute! They were demoing their new Bigshot Pro. It's so cook, it makes full sized boxes and baskets and bags but it's kind of big and I already have a regular Big Shot but it's still cool!

Provo Make and Take's

One of the most booths was the Provocraft booth. They were in the center and were giving out chef hats in celebration of their new Cricut Cake coming out. They had books with the new cartridges and tons of new and fabulous must have cuttlebug dies and folders, demos and make and takes. The lines were long but I was able to make this cool little scrapbook. We got to use a new Cuttlebug folder and once our book was put together we got to bind it with the Your Story binding machine! Really fun. I was lucky enough to get one of the hats and my little ones were super excited and wore it around the house all weekend! Some of the other make and takes they had included using the new cricut cake to decorate a cupcake and make a little box for it.
I also had fun at the Making Memories booth. They will be giving away two Vespas in celebration of their new hands free kit for the Slice. We all got cute aprons and had some fun trying to win a slice.

CHA was super fun!

Hi Everyone! CHA was so much fun! It was super pouring rain here in California all week, but that didn't damper my mood. I got there about 1:00 and didn't leave until after 6:00. I shopped and did make and takes and just had a good old time. I did two Make and Takes using Taylored Expression stamps. The top is from Taylor's booth, using one of her new releases. The second one uses a single that is not even out yet and was a make and take at the splitcoaststampers booth. I bought that cute little stamp, I couldn't help it. Taylor by the way is even more gorgeous in person, nice and really tall. I'll be back with more make and takes and more info about what I saw later this week.

More new product from the mini and I just love it all. This paper is the sending love speciality paper from SU and has glitter on it. So fun. The stamp set I think is called With Love. The pink ribbon and kraft cardstock and the epoxy brad are also from SU.

If you are interested in buying any of these great products don't forget my sale-a-bration specials!

Isn't this the cutest little stamp. It's from the mini and is called Fox and Friends. The dp is retired SU and the ribbon and cardstock is also SU. I just think it's a sweet little card.

This week All I can say is Rain, rain go away. I know, boo hoo to us Southern Californians for finally having some winter. But the rain has been relentless and the flooding was crazy on Wednesday. Today is supposed to be the last day and this weekend I will be attending the Craft and Hobby Show. It's practically in my backyard!

Christmas Album - the end

Here are some of the last pages of my 25 days of Christmas book. It was so much fun to make and I know that I will enjoy looking back and seeing how we celebrated the season each year.
Now, I bought quite a bit of things that I didn't need at the scrapbook expo. The major expense was a Dreamcuts from Zutter. Which I love! It cuts paper perfectly every time and it does! I got a bunch of free stuff with my purchase so it was a good deal. I also got some Basic Grey paper pads and some cosmo cricket (bogo free) and some kits and some cool albums that I saw in CTMH's book for 2.00, they are selling them in CTMH for 11.00 so a deal if I actually make my projects. So much to do so little time! I hope that they don't have to much stuff that I want at CHA this weekend. I'm going to the retail show on Friday. I'm leaving work a little early so I'm really excited about going. Talk to you all soon.

Tri Heart Love

HI Everyone! Today's card is super cute using the new I heart hearts stamp set (I bought clear) and these small sentiments from SU. I also used the new heart edge punch. I stamped in white on kraft cardstock one of the larger hearts and then filled in with the small heart. I used riding hood red ribbon for an accent. I just love it!

Are you lucky to be off tomorrow. I am and trying to get all of my errands done today so I can have time to play with all of my new goodies. Not only did I just get my huge sale - a-bration order (I have specials so don't miss out on getting the goods!) but I went to the scrapbookexpo yesterday too. I'll spill on what I got later. The masses are hungry for some breakfast!

Surfing Gift

Today I am sharing the gifttage and the gift that I made for my dad's birthday. The tag is simple kraft cardstock. The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink and the penguin is retired from SU. Now the frame is a shadow box from Michaels. The paper is from Creative Imaginations. The decor elements is retired. SU still offers this surf image but not in white which is wierd because I think white is just the perfect image, you know white like the ocean's foam... Anyhow, I think he liked it and it was fun and really easy to make!

I am drastically changing gears here with today's card! My dad's birthday is in December and I always make him surf or beach themed cards. I used SU's surfing stamp set along with I think Bo-Bunny dp. It's a simple card but he loved it!

Reindeer thank you

Here is my last holiday "thank you" card. I used my Sparkle and Bright stamp set from SU. I just stamped the reindeer in chocolate and colored in the nose with red marker. The snowflakes are in bashful blue. The cardstock is kraft and the dp is merry moments from SU. The snowflake is a retired flurry and the rhinestone is from my stash. I also used my favorite die cut Top Note.

Heart Friend

Today's card combines retired with brand spanking new. I used riding hood red cardstock and kiwi kiss, retired but I love them and Bella Rose dp. I also used kiwi kiss corduroy buttons. The stamp is from I heart hearts and the red small heart is a punch, both in the new mini. Such a simple card but the paper is just so pretty that it doesn't need too much. Don't forget to see the earlier post with my specials AND I'm offering blog candy.

Holiday thank you

Don't forget that I'm offering blog candy! Today's card uses one of the singles stamps that SU offered this year. I think that it was designed for a tag but I only used the main image part. I colored in the image with copics and used my top note die and Merry Moments DP. The card base is kraft cardstock and the ribbon is mistletoe. The sentiment is from PaperTreyInk. I really enjoyed getting more use out of my holiday supplies by making holiday thank you cards!

Happy New Year! Blog Candy!

Happy New Year everyone! This week's blog candy is this wonderful clear Changito stamp set. To win, leave a comment on this post. A winner will be posted on Friday where I will post the next week's candy!
Luckily for me, I did not get sick. Everyone else was sick and threw up except for me and little Lily! I am enjoying the last few days of my vacation before I head back to reality. Last night was very mellow. My sister came over and we had California Pizza Kitchen (take out!) and rootbeer floats for dessert, watched a movie and that was pretty much it! My kind of night.
I know that you must all be tired of Christmas images but I have a few Christmas things left to show you this month. This card is actually a thank you card! I think using holiday images for your thank you cards is perfectly ok and a great way to use up a few more pieces of holiday paper, embellishments and another way to use those Christmas stamps. This snowman stamp is from the holiday mini. I only stamped part ofthe image, colored him in with markers and used the top note die to accent my image. The dp is Merry moments from SU and a flurry from last year's holiday mini! I think he's very cute and is one of the thank you cards that I've made for the kids thank you cards! Enjoy your weekend.
