Snowbunnybella thank you

Today, I am pulling out another neglected stamp set a fun Bella Stamp that I haven't used in forever. It was really fun pulling out all of my winter stamps to make these thank you cards. We don't get snow where I live and most of my vacation has been gorgeous spring weather about 75 degrees. Don't hate me but the weather has been absolutely perfect!
Recipe:

Snowbunnybella from Bella Stamps

Eskimo Kisses Paper from Basic Grey

Sincere Salutations from Stampin' Up

Pink Stickles

Copic Sketch Markers

WER Memory Keepers Textured Cardstock
I am linking this card up to the Pink Cricut site. She's asking for us just to link up what we are working on...

Cheers Chica!

Today's card is for all of us who made it through the first week's back at school. Back to routine, lunches, baths and all that jazz. The dp is from SU and is called Blueberry Maine. The stamp is a Bella stamp. Her outfit is paperpieced and the kiwi kiss dp was embossed with a birds and vines cuttlebug folder. The satin ribbon is old olive. I wish I looked that good! Thanks for looking today.

Luv Bug

I have been working with this retired SU dp for the last two years now but I still love it! Today's card uses this luvbug stamp from Stamping Bella. I colored in the image with copics and used my nestabilities for the scallop square. The wings are glittered and the sentiment is from SU. Do you have favorite paper that you keep going to?

Holiday Blog Candy

Happy Friday! Last week's winner is Tracey . Please email me with your address so I can mail your prize to you. This week's prize is this MFT holiday stamp set. I don't think they make this one anymore. Anyway, to win just leave a comment on this post and I will use random.org and post a winner.

This week's card is very cute muffin fairy from Bella stamps. I used Basic Grey dp and it was also used to paper piece her dress. The rest of the image is colored with copics. The flower on the bottom was cut with cuttlebug flower dies and felt and I placed a pearl in the center.

Lately, I have been obsessed with making Mini Books. I have tons of paper and tons of Zutter coveralls so I have been looking at different blogs looking for ideas. My favorite blog right now is Paper Phenomenon. I am a total lurker on her site but her stuff is amazing and she has ustream classes that help you make some of the amazing projects she has posted. You also can buy kits and they are really beautiful. She is listed in the top 10 on the Cricut top 40, so she is not really a hidden gem but I just discovered her. Have any of you found a "new to you" blog that you find really inspirational? Please post in the comments section so that all of us can find a new blog and be inspired!

Raining hearts

Cute cute cute! How cute is this stamp from Stamping Bella? I bought this stamp A LONG time ago and cleaned out some of my mess and found a slew of stamps that I had bought and never inked up including this cutie which just fit with my blitz of Valentine's stamping. I colored her with copics and used my nestabilities for the scallop square. The dp is more Sending Love dp from Su and the ribbon is taffeta SU pink ribbon. Also, the card is a 4x4 square card which I don't normally like to do odd sized cards because of having to find the right envelope but this stamp is small and looked better on a smaller card. Thanks so much for looking.

Don't forget that I have blog candy here.

Last weeks winner is: Josie0602 Please email me with your address. My email is under my picture. Today's prize is this super fun clear stamp set called Birthday Fun. To win, just leave a comment on this post and I will select a winner using Random.org next Friday.
Another one of my resolutions is to use some of the "stuff" that I bought and have never used it. Included is this super cute and fun stamp from Stamping Bella. Can you believe that I never inked this up and I have had it for over a year? I used more sending love specialty dp and paperpieced the heart and hat, the rest of the image is colored in with copics. I did use my dots sizzix cuttlebug embossing folder for the red cardstock piece and my nestabilities for the scalloped square...it's more pink and red but so cute, don't you think?

Fall Veggies

Today's card is a fun autumn card using Stamping Bella's Veggie Bela and this really pretty Heidi Grace paper. I paper pieced the outfit and colored everything else with my copics. It's a fairly simple card but I like the colors. It makes me think of harvest and pumpkins and Thanksgiving! I hope that everyone has a great day.

Happy Halloween 2009

Happy Halloween! I love when I get to use the fun stamps that I have in my stash! This stamp is witchy bella. She is paper pieced and colored with copics. The paper is Cast a Spell from SU. I really like this paper partly because the purple really stands out so nicely!

I plan on taking the babies trick or treating in my parent's neighborhood. It's not far at all from my house and they love seeing the kids all dressed up. I'm hoping that my sister will bring her baby over too so the kids can go out together but she lives literally in the back yard of Knott's and so the traffic is just unbelievable! I hope that everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!

Winner & a Beachy Bella

I made this cute card for the weekly bloggabella challenge but I forgot to send it in time. Oh well. I like the card. The paper is from my stash, I think it's Bo-Bunny. It's layered on Kraft cardstock and the bubbled kraft piece was embossed using my cuttlebug. Which btw I was watching HSN last week and they had all of the new not yet released folders for the cuttlebug at an amazing price. Yes, I broke down and bought them! The stamp is from Stamping Bella and is called Beachabella. The sentiment is from the PTI customer stamp set. I paperpieced the bikini, blanket and bag. I made my own embellishment with a scallop circle, button, twine and ribbon. I got that idea from Mish. The rest of her is colored with copics!

Patty W you are the winner! I will be back with more candy on Friday.

Also, I got my camera and I just love it. I have no idea how it works just yet, but the fast shutter speed put me in raptures of joy! No more missing the cuteness of my kids. I can capture the moment!

Pretty in Pink

I have to tell you, I think that this is my favorite card out of all the cards that I have made in awhile. It came out so cute. This is a Stamping Bella Chichiboule stamp. I used a sketch from Taylor's second anniversary and I did a lot of paperpiecing. The paper is from Basic Grey's Bittersweet. I also used my nestabilities for the scalloped rectangles. Isn't she the cutest thing? I can't wait to get more of these stamps. They are super cute!

Have a great day!

Funky Bookabella

Isn't this a fun card and perfect for a Librarian, library worker or friend of the library or just for someone who likes to read. I used my Bookabella stamp along with my Just Rite Stamper. I really like these stamps, especially the small letter set which I just got. I also used some fun paper that I had in my stash with alphabet letters and this book pocket and card which most libraries don't use anymore. I usually paper piece my Bellas but I colored her in with my copics. Talk to you all soon!

Coaster Post-It Note books & Bo Bunny Challenge

I know, it's not Fall yet! However, I decided to do a challenge to use Bo-Bunny paper at Mothers and Daughters Creations. I am determined to use up my scraps so I used last season's fall paper to make this card. The stamp is Witchybella and the cat is from SU. I paperpieced the witch and colored in the rest of the image with my copics. The sketch is this week's MFT sketch. I used my Spellbinders nestabilities for the long rectangles but the scallop is SU's scallop punch. The ribbon is CTMH chocolate.

Here is another cute project made with my Bind-It-All. These are coaster post-it note holders. I am so sorry but I forgot to take a picture of the inside. These little coasters were found in the Target $1 spot. Really easy, I put adhesive on one side of the SU DP and laid my coaster on it, and then trimmed around the coaster. I did the same with the opposite side of the coaster. The stamp set that I used was I believe Polka Dot and Petals and SU circle punches and scallop punch. I then bound it with my Bind-It-All. I gave these as gifts to the ladies in my SU stamp club.

Kazan Challenge #3

Here are two cards that I made using Kazan's sketch. They both were made using CTMH's Let's Get Togther paper packet. The first uses the Emmybella stamp and the second uses CTMH's stamp of the month With Love. You can see where I paper pieced the images. It's been awhile since I've done this and I forgot how much I like it. The colors are garden green, buttercup and cranberry. Talk to you all soon and enjoy your weekend.

Challenge Cards for the New Year

Here are three cards that I made for Kimmie's sketch challenge. My first challenge of the year!
The paper is from Cloud9 , this is an Amuse stamp called Flower Child. The sentiment is MFT.

This is a baby card that I made for a colleague who is having a baby girl. I used SU Bundle of Joy, colored simply with a copic marker. The paper came from some candy I won. The sentiment is Amuse and the ribbon is from my stash.

In this last example, I turned the sketch around a little. It's a birthday card for my cousin using one of my neglected bellas. I paperpieced her pants. I used a bella bauble and a brad I got from some candy I won for the center of the flowers. It's a little busy but I think I like it anyway! I can't believe it's Sunday already, where did the time go?

Well, I will leave you with a pic of my son on his little quad. Doesn't he look cute in his helmet?

Surf's Up!

No, it's not summer yet. But today's card is a birthday card for my dad, a long time surfer. He turns 59 on Sunday. He's still in pretty good shape and can still ride the waves. I always try to make him surf or beach inspired cards.

I finally inked up this Fella. I got him specifically to make my dad his birthday card and I thought I could use him for scrapbooking. The paper is from Quick Quotes. The cardstock is olive and Barnyard Red from CTMH. The sentiment is SU. I colored him in with my copics and paper pieced his shorts. The picture shows his surfboard looks pink but in reality it matches the dp. I did use a bit of ribbon but my dad is secure in his masculinity not to mind! I'll be back on Friday to post the candy, see you then.

Bella Thursday

I am having lunch with friends on Saturday to celebrate a friend's birthday so I decided to use one of my neglected Bellas to make her a card.

I think she's called Giftabella. I paper pieced her pants. I don't know the name of the paper it's scraps from my stash but the cool part is that the paper is double sided so it was easy to match. The hardware is from WER Memory Keepers. The paper flower is CTMH and was colored in using a baby blue Copic marker. I just noticed that her shoes aren't colored in on this one. I made two of these cards and I guess I took a picture of the one that wasn't completely done. Oh well...
And this is Merrybella. I really think she's super cute. I colored her in using copics and I put stickles on the star and ornaments. The brads are CTMH and the paper is from Remininsce. I hope you like my Bellas! Pin It Now!

Another sketch challenge

This is a card I made for another card sketch challenge. I absolutely love how it came out. The colors used are kiwi and star spangled blue. I found the name of this paper - MOD, I think by Foof a La. This is my prezzibella. Finally bought some bellas. I think that I need more! I used the CTMH Sewing stamps and It's a Party stamp set. I paper pieced her pants!

I then made this pocket card. I used my CTMH Friendship Blessings stamp set. On the inside, I don't know where I got this sentiment stamp. I used my Cuttlebug flower dies to cover up a smudge and I used my SU punch.
Don't you just love these colors.

Don't forget. There is still time to enter the BLOG CANDY! See two posts below for details. Thanks for looking!
