Surf's Up!

No, it's not summer yet. But today's card is a birthday card for my dad, a long time surfer. He turns 59 on Sunday. He's still in pretty good shape and can still ride the waves. I always try to make him surf or beach inspired cards.

I finally inked up this Fella. I got him specifically to make my dad his birthday card and I thought I could use him for scrapbooking. The paper is from Quick Quotes. The cardstock is olive and Barnyard Red from CTMH. The sentiment is SU. I colored him in with my copics and paper pieced his shorts. The picture shows his surfboard looks pink but in reality it matches the dp. I did use a bit of ribbon but my dad is secure in his masculinity not to mind!
