For this week's heart candy, I have a 6x6 paper pad of Figgy Pudding. I haven't even opened the one that I bought for myself yet so I think I'll do that this weekend to show everyone just how cool this new Basic Grey paper is! To win, leave a comment on this post by Tuesday, November 20 and I will choose a winner using random.org on Wednesday. I'd like to know what cool gifts you're getting people this year. Yes, I need inspiration, especially for what to get the people who have everything. If you're giftcarding it, then just leave me a hello!
It's going to be a busy weekend for me. Sorry, I don't have a creation to post, but I will this weekend for sure. I was busy stamping labels for nugget tins! Enjoy your weekend!!! Pin It Now!

I love Basic Grey paper! As for cool gifts...it's so hard to choose gifts for people who have everything. The gifts won't be cool, but I am giving magazine subscriptions to a few who have everything!
I'm giving home made quilts and books to my girls.
I think my engaged daughter is getting the "perfect veil" that matches her wedding dress. My son is getting basketball stuff...my friends are getting homemade food baskets, (breads, cookies, candy--if I reach my goal!), and I'm not sure about everybody else. I'm not much of a gift card person...althought I do enjoy receiving them Ü I'm drooling over the paper!
I am getting very stressed out about the holiday season - esp seeing all the holiday cards people are posting! And they count down on the radio in the mornings!
I have a few ideas - for my Mom, I may get her gift certificate for cooking classes. I received a couples class for Spanish cooking last year and she was intrigued by it. I love the idea of giving things like that - classes to learn new hobbies, etc. I will give some facials/massage certificates as well. I like non-stuff gifts -- you never know how people will like it and then it just ends up junking up their house! :)
Yummy!!!
Love that paper!! As for cool gifts...we bought our son-in-law the Ipod Nano...I'd like one too!! 'Not sure what to get for everyone else though! Thanks for this chance to win!

We have to be VERY frugal this year. I got my little brother a reindeer webkins and then the rest of the family I am making nugget tins and handmade card sets for. These will hopefully be loved and not cost us too much. Thanks for sharing blog candy with us all-Samantha
Well... I'm not doing so great on the ideas yet. One thing I'm giving to my MIL/FIL and two SILs are altered frames w/ beautiful pictures of the two grandchildren (SILs' babies) that I took (that no one's seen yet) with "Cousins" across the bottom. I *hope* they turn out!
I'm also hoping to give my parents something that they can do with my BF and I; dinner theatre tickets, maybe.
What wonderful blog candy. I made a couple scrapbooks for friends this year and am going to make tins as soon as they arrive. I also make homemade cookies and choc. covered pretzels that everyone always looks forward to. I also did several scrapbooking bags for my nieces and friends. They enjoy this wonderful hobby. Don't know if there cool but I'm sure they're going to love them and that's what counts.
I jsut love the paper. I've seen this paper used a lot lately. I'm planning on making card sets, candles, and some altered tims with goodies inside. People that have everything usually doesn't have that many handmade things.
Thanks for a chance.

I have seen and heard so many good things about this paper...thanks for the chance at winning some!
I can not belive how quickly Christmas is coming. I have done basically no shopping yet...gotta get busy. I don't really know yet what I am getting anyone. We have bought the 'Family' gift for our girls though...a Wii...gonna be so fun!!
Love the Figgy paper ~ I don't have any yet!!
Gift cards and stamped card sets.
What great blog candy! I love the Figgy Pudding and haven't been able to use any yet. Everywhere online seems like they are out! lol I am giving those CTMH specials from May (the accordian album) to grandparents and my yearly calendar with pics of the kids from this past year. The calendar is the only thing all the grandparents want each year. Guess I better get started on it! lol
Hi Cindy!
OMG...I know how gorgeous that paper is! Thank you for offering a chance to win some!
My gift for people who have everything has become a tradition: I make a donation in their name to a charity that they like.
I bought my mum's present early as she wanted a new fibre optic christmas tree, she is on her own now so likes to do some decorating with minimum fuss. I just bought a usb cup heater for DH which if he doesn't use it I will be taking back for my latte, maybe I should have bought that gift for me!
Have a great weekend!
Hi Cindy! I just received the rustic flowers CTMH stamp set in the mail. Thank you so very much! I haven't had a chance to ink it yet, but can't wait! (It took so long because there was no street address on it, just my name and city....they found me though with the postal code) Anyway, the thing I'm giving most for Christmas this year is I went to a class last night to learn how to make no0sew hand tied fleece blankets. WOW are they ever cute and warm. You can find directions online, I made two blankets in 2 1/2 hours. I'm making everyone a blanket now!
Yum - Figgy pudding...I was just drooling over it yesterday at my LSS. I have a friend that sells Cookie Lee jewelry so my mom is getting a beautiful bracelet from me. We draw names on Thanksgiving Day to see which family members we buy for. I give a handful of gift cards for niece & nephews, and spoil my 3 little grandkids rotten. (But so far have only bought some fantastic books for all of them) I usually give my kids & their spouses a hundred dollar bill displayed on one of my handmade cards. Boy - guess I'd better get busy!!!
I like pudding! I just started using pattern paper in my cards when my SIL bought me some papers. Gifts this year would be maybe homemade monogram notecards. I was thinking of a simply sent SU sets for some friends who may be into this. I love giving books as well.
I'm giving books, magazine subscriptions and gift cards to most of the adults. Toys and light-up cowgirl boots for my granddaughters. Plus I've made some card sets to give to friends. Haven't come up with any good ideas for my hubby yet.
This year for gifts, we are giving: tix to Rockette's Christmas Spectacular in NYC (for those who have everything), digital photo frames and a Kodak Easy Share kit to get the grandparents up to tech speed. I LOVE that figgy pudding :) Thanks for a chance at it
WOW!! I"ve been looking all over for Figgy Pudding and none of the stores by me carry it. I'm giving homemade cards to my grandma and explosion boxes to my mom and MIL. Thanks!
Cheryl KVD
I'm working on some of the CD case calendars for friends, otherwise, I have no idea!! Gotta get in shopping mode.
I haven't had a chance to use Basic Grey paper yet... maybe this will be my chance.. you are very generous...TFS
we (my sister and I) are thinking about givng homemade cookies: I'll make the boex, she'll bake the cookies
The usual.. toys, books, clothes, video games, etc.. lol! 4 kids all different age ranges.. so a mix of this and that! :)
Hi hi!! I am changing gears this year and going with almost 100% handmade gifts. Mostly I will have scrapbooks or similar items. I could sure use some figgy pudding!! LOL
Have a great weekend! We'll give you a pass for not having a project because you are always so good to your blog readers!!
hugs,
Elaine
We are traveling over 1000 miles one way to spend Christmas with 30 family members. Due to space in the car everyone gets a DVD and an ornament.
For my daughter, a decorated paint can filled with stamping supplies, cleaner, stamps, etc.; thought I'd make 'survival kits' for some - golfer, carpenter, etc. these are always fun.
Just started playing with the BG paper and love it! I have been searching on scs and eBay for retired stamp sets that I know my stamping buddies will love - Groovy for the young gal who volunteers in my library and thinks its the 60's, Peaceful Garden for my friend who loves cranes, etc. I'm also knitting scarves for my ddls and sweaters for my grandkids.
Love that BG paper - just discovered it and started playing with it. I have been searching SCS and eBay for retired sets that my stamping buds would really like - Peaceful Garden for my crane loving friend, Groovy for my friend who has an old red VW bug, etc. DDLs (all 5 of them) are all getting hand knit scarves and quilted purses and grandkids are getting knit sweaters. Sons are up to my dh!
Love the paper! Im making tins with candy inside for my friends :)
My brother is getting a special toy he's been coveting
Mom is geting some pretty candle holders
dad - ?
My cousin (like a bro to me) and his DFiance are getting there baby announcements from me.

Well, I'm giving birthday bash in a box to my extended family! A fun cake platter that has LCD lights and plays "Happy bday." Along with candles, a dozen hand stamped cards, cake mix, etc, etc.
It's the gift that keeps on giving. I sure hope that my lucky number is the one drawn for that fab paper!
The paper looks yummy! Anyways, I haven't given Christmas too much thought, I better get my thinking cap on! Thanks for the chance to win some goodies. Sandra
I am gift-carding it (Ikea, Best Buy, Sephora) and making accordion albums of the kids! TFS Cindy!
I am not giving gifts to family. we just dont. we give the money we would have spent to the local Childrens HOme. all my kids are grown and dont need anything either.
One thing that I found that I think would be a great add-on gift is a dvd by Jeff Dunham. I don't have any real exciting ideas. My daughter's boyfriend wants a Dave Matthew's concert t-shirt which I will buy. I am getting scrapbook supplies for my nieces.

Figgy Puddin, Basic Grey - I just love their paper. Oh I hope my
number comes up this time. This year I have it easy with my grandkids. They love to make cards! They are 7 and 4. So card
supplies, of course. Gift certificates, a handmade promissary note book for my DD and SILaw and Tim Horton gift card.
I'm working on handmade gifts for a lot of people this year. I got PaperCrafts's "Room to Room" magazine and it's got some great home decor ideas. I also registered for Big Picture Scrapbooking's "Giving Well in 2 Hours or Less" class, and it's got some amazing gift ideas!
Mmm Figgy Pudding. The paper only. Real fig pudding to eat would be pretty gross wouldnt it?
Hmm I am making name frames for everyone and a few people are getting things they asked for - wooden carved boxes, blankets, and a one cup coffee maker.
You rock girly - I received your cute penguin card and mini stamps in the mail just for being a subscriber!!!!! Thank you so much!
Cindy,
I'm making a lot of survival kits as gifts this year. If it's a college student or a new Mom or just a friend, I'm customizing the kit to the individual and placing all of these in pails. The other thing I'm doing for like SIL's are large chipboard wall words personalized to match their houses with pictures of their kids. It's gonna be a tight X-Mas for everyone this year and I want to make things feel personal. That's all
Oh I'm working on alot of stamping stuff ie:journals, tree ornament for each of my family member and for my hubby a special album from the last 3 years which he isn't expecting, cause he loves the work i do with scrapbooking albums.
Thanks for the chance!!
I saw the most beautiful and soft spa towels at Sears last week and I'm seriously thinking of those for my DDs and DDILs. They're white, puffy, soft and generally very decadent for after shower. Oh, did I say I love that Figgy Pudding paper and don't have any YET! LOL!
This year we are going to give gift cards.
I will do some baking..homemade treats too.
With all the "Recalls"...I'm still trying to figure out what to get the little ones.
My Christmas cards are all finished.
I do love the Basic Grey papers !
Would love to taste the Figgy Pudding !
Thanks for a chance to WIN.
Dee
YEAH for Figgy Pudding. I would love to get my hands on that paper!!
IPODS for the kids this year and handmade gifts for my friends.... I'll be posting pics on my blog of those soon!
Well naturally, everyone gets home-made cookies & breads. College age G-kids getting $$, grade school age getting DVDs. I looked for that BG paper yesterday on a trip to LSS & couldn't find Figgy Pudding!
NancyS (momsnack)
great paper - love your blog!
not sure on the gifts yet...one side draws names at thanksgiving so we don't know who it will be yet....and the other side does gift card exchange.
so sorry not much help i know!
i love this paper though...thanks for a chance to win some.
I made my grandma a mini brag book she can keep in her purse for pix of the great grand babies. My husband is getting a Wii. For my FIL we are getting him some steaks from Omaha Steak Co., my MIL is getting the appetizer plates and caddy from pampered chef. I have no idea what to get my kiddo's. Both of there birthdays are around x-mas one on thanksgiving and one on Jan 8. They get way too much at this time of year!
Love your blog. My MIL has everything so I made her a card tote with matching cards, note cards, note pad, post it pad and pen. I think I may add a candle to the basket too.

Well, I've actually got several ides for thekiddow...enough ides to share with other family members...whoohoo! Stumped on hubby?!!? I'm in love with this figgy pudding paper by basicgreY! thanks for the chance!!
I love Basic Grey! And Figgy Pudding is soooo cool!
Things are really tight this year, so all my gifts will be handmade. I am making paper bag albums (Figgy Pudding would be awesome for this, so you can just draw my name Ü), altered candle jars (shown on my blog) and altered jars (recycled) filled with recipients favorite candy, nut mixes, etc., address books (that I have made by altering little composition books, so mostly altered stuff. Ü I have lots of supplies that I have hoarded over the years (including the last 3 yrs of Basic Grey's Christmas line), so I am using lots of that up which is a good thing.
I am making some minibooks for special friends and family!
Hugs
Marcia
Hi Cindy!
WOW...Basic Grey paper is the best!
Thank you for offering a chance to win that wonderful Figgy!
I will just say Hello because, with no kids in my family, we don't do a lot of gift exchanging. Christmas has become more of a simple time together as family.
Love that BG paper! What a great give away!
This year, I'm scrapbooking recipe cards and altering recipe albums for family members. It almost feels selfish making them because I'm enjoying it so much! :)
I don't usually, but I'm going high end for my husband this year and getting him the new Ipod. He works out of town and he will be able to check his email on it and stay closer in touch with us! We can also send pics via email, etc.
Wow! what a great gift!
I am still clueless when it comes to most of my Christmas presents. I think I am going to get my daughter some scrappy stuff and my son wants transformer toys. DH needs some clothes, but that is not much fun. I am looking to make a couple of calendars for my mom and mil though.
I love Basic Grey paper also. I am making a small album for 1 daughter and a wreath to display with pictures for my granddaughter. Other than that it will be toys for the grandkids.

oh....what a great blog candy! I have already used 2 pads so far this season! Thanks for the chance!
I went to a craft fair today and bought my brother the perfect gift, a cute wood sign that reads, "We interupt this family for the Seahawks game". And I bought my daughter one that says, "I found my Prince Charming - his name is daddy.
Love that Figgy Pudding! You need to break into yours girlie. :)
I haven't even begun to think about gifts!!! Toys for the little ones. I'd love to think I have time to make lots of homemade stuff, but more than likely it'll be gift cards.
Love the BG Figgy Pud. Gift cards and just a few hand-picked things for gifts this year for those on my list.
I love this paper! This year has been kind of different for me regarding Christmas gifts since we are living overseas. While we were in Spain with my mom I bought I bunch of gifts to send home. My favorite were the little police helmets I found in Gibraltar. Since Gibraltar is ruled by the British, everything from the language to the post office is British. The little police hats look like the little "bobby" hats worn by the police. So fun!
I love this paper too. I'm going to be making a lot of gifts and just yesterday decided to donate in the name of my family members.
Basic Grey is my absolute favorite and I love this Figgy Pudding. I have purchased some of the tins from Papertrey Ink to alter and fill with hot chocolate, tea, coffees or candies. They are really cute. Thanks for the opportunity to win!!!
I love this paper! As for Christmas shopping, I haven't started yet, at this rate there might be alot of gift cards in my future.

Hi Cindy!
WOW...Basic Grey paper is the best!
Thank you for offering a chance to win that wonderful Figgy!
I am making some of those pinecone ornament balls that I keep seeing on SCS. But they will only go to fellow stampers who will appreciate the effort :)
is anything better than "figgy pudding" aaaaaaaaa .... NOPE
my kiddos are young adults this year and living on their own so we are getting them all feather beds!thanks mrscrousseau@msn.com
Hi Cindy,
I can't wait to see what you do with Figgy Pudding!
The coolest gifts I give are the ones that go to my stamping sisters...because that's what I would want to receive!
Happy Turkey Day to you and your family!
Oh I'd die for some yummy figgy pudding lol. What can someone on a small budget buy for those who have greater means? I'm going to do a few card sets, but am totally stuck on the family, maybe a coffee card to my bros fav place, parents are a huge dilemma.
Figgy Pudding, I luv it, been eyeing it for awhile. thanks for the chance. I'm making gift cards & giving those out this year & some hand made items like the Starbucks bottle 4 pack. Altering them with paper, filling bottles with candy & putting a gift card in the middle.
hi cindy! i just received your mail! thank u thank u thank u!! i love it. =)
Sweetness....Figgy Pudding is awesome!
I always have a hard time deciding what to get everyone on my list...I actually almost dread it! I never know what to buy. Maybe I could hire a shopping consultant to do the shopping for me! lol :) Sorry I don't have any ideas for you. But good luck with your shopping! :)
P.S. Luv that Basic Grey paper! They make such gorgeous patterns! :)
Thanks again for your generosity!
