Today, I am showing you the Mother's Day card that I made for my Grandmother. I used the Everyday Popups cartridge for my teapot and scraps of this retired SU dp that I've been using all year and still havea few pieces left. I doodled a few dots here and there with my white gel pen. The wavy lines are from the card feature on the card. It was a really fun card to make!
Welcome to Birthday Sundaes Challenge #15. The challenge this week is to create a birthday card using stars and stripes. My image this week is from Cricut cartridge A Child's Year. This is one of those carts that I got for 10 bucks from Michaels and it has an amazing amount of fabulous images. The paper is from Scenic Route and is scraps that I had from a scrapbook layout. The red cardstock was embossed with a stars cuttlebug embossing folder. The sentiment is from PTI. Here is another scrapbook layout that I made using SU dp and tangerine tango cardstock. I used the Carousel Cricut cartridge and the Hello Kitty cart for the lettering. I also used elegant edges cart for the large orange piece and cut it in half so when you put the layout together they match completely. Thanks so much for visiting me today.
Today I am sharing a card that I made for the kids to give my mom for Mother's Day. I used my Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut cartridge. The dp is SU retired and I used my bubbles martha Stewart punch which I cannot for the life of me get to line up correctly. Does anyone have any tips for using this darn punch, no matter what I do it does not line up right. Anyway, Hello Kitty is cut at 3 inches and my mom thought that she was very cute, and it was the perfect card for the kids to give their Grandma.

Welcome to Birthday Sundaes Challenge #13. The challenge is to use embossing. I used my Cuttlebug and this tire tread folder. The stamps are from PTI and I just love them, so perfect and contemporary for a pre-teen boy. I think that this will be going to my nephew who will be turning 11 in July. Today, I am sharing a fun card using product from a couple of different companies. The airplane is from PTI and it will be so much easier to use this stamp set since they came out with a die for the plane. The sun is a sizzix die and the clouds are cut from blueberry sky felt from PTI with a cloud die from MFT. The paper is from A Muse Studio and the grass is cut with an MFT grass die.
