I am back with another project and it is this super cute thank you card that I made for Lily's birthday. I love how it came out and I think that it is perfect for a child's birthday thank you.
Be sure to watch the video to get the recipe and see how it all gets put together.
Hi everyone,
I have been such a bad blogger but there has been just so much summer fun and well my kids have been taking up all my time from morning until night. There has been a variety of crafting going on just not as much posting.
First, have you entered my drawing for a fuse? It ends on June 30, the day before my 42nd birthday. You can find information here.
I just got back from a family baby shower for my brother and his wife and I made an album which I think came out great. I will be sharing that hopefully next month as I have a slew of projects to post that I was supposed to post this month.
Today, I am sharing projects inspired by Cricut Design Space's Make it Now projects.
The first was a free cut and it was super easy.
The second one uses the pen or writing feature on the Explore and was inspired by a Make It Now project. However, it would have cost $4.99 for me to make that project which is weird because I own a ton of cartridges. I refuse to pay that for this card so I found cuts that were similar among the cuts I did own.
I also have a video for you all too. I hope you enjoy it.
Hi everyone,
So I am sharing my last card for the MFT Summer School. This was actually Lesson 1 and it was the rule of thirds. Here is my card:
I am so proud of myself! Not only did I complete all the challenges. I actually got them posted onto my blog! Thanks so much for visiting today! Pin It Now!
Hi everyone,
I have another card to share as I attempt to do all of the lessons in MFT stamps blog Summer School. This is for Day 2. The lesson is focal point. Here is my card:
HI everyone,
I have another card for the MFT summer school. Each day last week had a different design lesson. The lesson that I am sharing today is Balance: Line which was Day 4.
So simple but I love how it came out. Be sure to check out my giveaway for the Fuse a couple of posts down.
Hi everyone,
This past week I made projects to participate in My Favorite Things Summer School. They had 5 different lessons and so I made a project for each one. Here is my first project for Day 5 which was "white space" even though my "space" is pink and not white I think that it still uses the essence of the lesson.
I just got this stamp and die and I just love her plus she is so fun to color. I also used some stickles to make her a little more glittery. Be sure to visit MFT stamps Blog, there is still time to do the lessons.
Be sure to participate in my giveaway for a Fuse, information can be found on this post.
Hi everyone,
I have a super quick card. Cricut Design Studio has their Make It Now Projects. I made this one for a special Senior of mine who lived with his Grandmother as both of his parents passed away. It was very simple and quick and it used the writing feature which is really a very cool feature. Be sure to watch the video to get the recipe and see how it all gets put together.
I also have started sharing some more on Social Media and will be updating my blog sidebar with links to my social media account as I have time. In the meantime, be sure to visit me on Instagram. My name is cindy.vernon
Hi everyone.

Just playing catch up and trying to post some more to my blog. Has anyone else joined the Planner Craze? How about #listersgottalist? Crafting Subscription boxes? That's just a few of the things that have been taking over some of my spare time. This post isn't about that but I will probably be sharing some of my new favorite crafty endeavors and I would love to hear if any of you have discovered any new crafty endeavors too!
Today's post is another teacher thank you card. My kids last day was last Friday so this isn't too late.
It's nothing fancy but I thought that it turned out cute. I also have a short video to share on how I put this card together.
Hi everyone,
Well, I have been seriously neglecting my blog but I have been so busy. I was lucky to get someone in to do some work on the house while the kids were still in school and it has just made such a huge difference but they were so slow and used up 3 of my days off and now my Lily has had a fever for 3 days but it looks like her fever broke and maybe tomorrow she will sleep in her own bed!
Anyway, I have a teacher thank you card to share. I made 3 cards with giftcards for each of the kids teachers. Lily has two teachers, they job share.
I used the Create a Friend Cricut cartridge for this and I have a short video showing you the recipe.
Hi everyone,
So I have a Tuesday Morning Haul for you all. I used to have a Tuesday Morning right around the corner but it closed so it took me awhile to get to one and so I didn't get all of the cool stuff that I saw other Youtubers get but I am still happy with what I found.
HI everyone,
I have a fun and simple project for you guys. I have been using my Cricut Explore and I love it. The only problem that I have is sometimes knowing what cartridge a certain cut is from because it doesn't tell me as far as I can tell when I use search. Maybe some of you guys have a tip for that.
Here is my project:
I have a video for you all showing how I put it all together!
Hi everyone,
I was a little MIA. I just needed a break and well I have been crazy super busy. I just ended work for the summer so I am hoping to have a little bit more time to craft as the kids are still in school for two more weeks. Today's project is an "itty bitty mini" that was created for the Mini Album Scraps website.
