25 Days of Christmas - Day 1

Hi everyone,
Today is my attempt to bring 25 days of craftiness to my blog. I don't know if I will make it this year but I will definitely try. First, I have no idea where November went and I didn't post at all. Things were just so busy and while I was crafting, I just wasn't finding the time to post to my blog.

My projects for the first couple of days was inspired by May May Made It on YouTube. She has a series where she used an entire paper pack to make cards, tags and an advent calendar.

I am using Carta Bella Very Merry Christmas. My first project is an advent or countdown calendar. Most Christmas packs come with a sheets of number cut aparts and I used those along with a tutorial from May May to make this project.

This Christmas, I was forced to go with a small tabletop tree because our one year Maltipoo eats everything and that's actually an understatement. He ate half the couch already. This tree is from Target and I got it on Black Friday for a nice price along with the ornaments and tree topper. Inside each of the little countdown packets is some Andes mints.

Today's Christmas gift suggestions are general ideas that would work for close friends and family.

The first is the Instant Pot. This is going to be the hot gift this season. I got one about a year and a half ago on Prime Day and while it took me awhile to warm up to it, it really is an amazing kitchen tool. You can cook beans and roasts and much more in a fraction of the time and it comes out juicy and delicious. It also makes yogurt and rice even though I am quite attached to my rice cooker.
I actually got one of these to gift this holiday season.

The second is a firestick. Most TV's today are smart TV's but not all of them are. The really cool thing about this is that you can travel with it. It plugs into any HDMI port. I plan on giving this a try on an upcoming trip to Vegas with my sister. TV usually stinks in those casino hotels and since we are so not party animals, we do enjoy relaxing after a long day of shopping and gambling with a little TV. They are super affordable and basically any TV can become a smart TV with one of these bad boys.
The third is the click and grow portable garden. This thing is genius! It uses cartridges that have the seeds for what you want to grow, fill the water reservoir, plug it in and boom you got a garden. So cool and really not expensive at all!
The fourth is a little pricey but man I wish someone would buy me one of these as this a coffee lover's dream. It's the Ninja Coffee Bar Brewer System. It makes coffee, regular coffee, ice coffee, fancy coffee and it will brew in different sizes so you can fill a coffee mug or your travel cup.

I hope you enjoyed today's post. Thanks so much for visiting today!
