Pinkfresh Studio Foil and Betterpress Virtual Retreat

Hello friends,

Today, it's all about a recent virtual retreat that I did with Pinkfresh Studio. It was their first ever Hot Foil and Betterpress event and it was so well received, they are going to have add ons to their regular virtual retreats. I absolutely loved the event and highly recommend it. They are moving to just the betterpress plates because you can foil and letterpress.  I have 2 videos. The unboxing of the kit and the projects that we made.

I have the cardmaking event this weekend and I have not done any of the homework. Sometimes, I just do it as I go which is harder but I have had no time to prep!

Not 2 Shabby Shop Virtual Retreat Kit Unboxing

Hello friends,

Today, I wanted to share an unboxing of my virtual retreat kit from the Not 2 Shabby Shop. I love everything in it but especially the stamp set. I added the coordinating die and I got the plaids paper pad that is shown in the video for free because I preordered it.

It's still available and there is going to be like 8 classes using this kit. I have the link to the kit here.

Thanks so much for visiting today.

Let's Make Beach or Ocean Scenes using paper Part 2

Hello friends,

I am back with part 2 of using paper to make beach or ocean scenes. There is only one more video left in the series but I think that I could have made projects and cards for months using all kinds of different methods for creating oceans or beaches. So fun!

In this video, I used some absolutely beautiful papers from Picket Fence Studios. They have all kinds of paper that make "scenes." I also used the Shelfie stamp set from Lawn Fawn and the Build and Drink Cocktail also from Lawn Fawn.

Almost done with the series and then onto some new things!

Let's Make Beach and Ocean Scenes with Paper!

Hello friends,

Today, I am sharing more of my series on making beach and ocean scenes using paper.

I used the Sailin' paper pack from Not 2 Shabby Shop and I used the matching ephemera from the Not 2 Shabby Shop   and the Ocean Life 6x6 paper pad from Pink and Main. I also used various stamp sets and dies such as the mermaids stamp set from Mama Elephant.

There are so many cool papers out there that have ocean and beach scenes done for you such as a new paper pad that I saw recently from La La Land Crafts called Summer Vacation.

Also, before I forget Not 2 Shabby Shop is doing a free virtual event in September and there is a super cute retreat kit for it. You can check it out here.

Part 2! Let's make beach scenes with stencils

Happy day! It's the last day of July and it was my first day back at work as a school librarian. It was quite mellow as most of the teachers who also started today were at training. I finally got a chance to work on cleaning my backroom. it's not glamorous but I have needed to work on this for awhile.

Today, I have the second part of making beach scenes with stencils. I am using stencils from Lawn Fawn, I think it's called Beach Sunset and I used some stencils from La La Land Crafts called Summer is here layering stencil. It's a 2 piece stencil and it's amazing. I used some ink and some pastes and tons of stamp sets from My Favorite Things Fish You Were Here, Pink and Main Ocean Animals Dies and Coral Reef Dies, Not Too Shabby Shop Ocean Adventures stamp and I think Lawn Fawn Ocean Shell fie stamp set.

I hope that you enjoy it! Please consider subscribing to my Youtube Channel.

Hello Friends. Let's Make Ocean Scenes with Stencils

Well hello crafty friends! I have decided that it's time to revive my blog. There is tons of content on here and trying to start over with a new blog just seemed overwhelming. I mostly post on Youtube and I would love if any kind viewers out there could subscribe but I will be posting videos here as well.

This summer, I wanted to focus on beach and ocean cards...cards with a summer vibe. So I have a 9 part series that I have been posting on Youtube and below you will find the first part.

I focused on stencils and will have two videos on using them to create ocean backgrounds. I think my two favorites from this video would be the Rotating Pool stencil from Taylored Expressions and the cloud/wave stencil from My Favorite Things.
