The buttons are from Making Memories. My cuppie is a little crooked but these cupcakes make such darned cute stamps! I will be going to my SU demo meeting this morning so hopefully I will get some new ideas to sharewith you all.

Flight of the Butterfly

This is a card that I made for one of Taylor's sketch challenges for her two year anniversary. I used Flight of the Butterfly stamp set from Stampin' Up and Sweet Always Designer paper. Both had been unused up until now so it felt good to use what I had. The colors I used were close to cocoa, regal rose and pink priouette. The brown brads were from my stash. Hope you're having a good day!

Sweet in pink

You will find if you are a vistor to my blog that sometimes I cluster my projects. Meaning you will find a bunch of projects using the same supplies. The reason for that is that the paper and stamps are already out and it's so much easier to create with stuff that's already out then to put it all away first! However, I also happen in this case to really like this sweet stems stamp set and Rasberry tart paper. The sentiment is from the now retired Best Yet stamp set. It's a simple layout. The dp is layered on regal rose cardstock and kiwi kiss cardstock was used for the base.

Sweet Criss Cross card

Here is a criss cross card that I made using new SU products. I feel like I've been neglecting my other stamps but I have had these since before Christmas and this is the first time I've really been able to sit down and use them. I used the new Rasberry Tart DP and sweet stems stamp set. One of my commentors mentioned that there was a matching sizzix embosslit. I used it on the front of the card in two colors and overlapped them.
Did I mention that I got a Big Shot for Christmas? Woo Hoo. However, I just opened it and took it out of the box a couple of days ago. I actually used my cuttlebug for this die and it came out great. I also used kiwi kiss satin ribbon which is super yummy!

I Love You Book and Heart Candy!

Here is a Valentine that I made my husband. It's a chipboard book entitled "25 Reasons Why We Love You." I, along with my two little ones and my husband's children wrote 5 reasons why we love my husband and their father. Below is the cover of the book.
I used the elements found in the Love You Much bundle. The stamp on the cover is from the stamp set and the paper is called Candy Cane Lane. I also used the heart punch and the top note die. The font is from SU as well. I covered my 4x6 chipboard and used my cropadile and jumbo brads to hold it together as well as a jump ring. I tied ribbon from the mini catalog and got to use up some scraps.
These aren't all the pics from the album but most of them. Here are pics that I took of all 4 children and then a pic of the 5 of us on Christmas morning. Can you see my impossibly small tree in the background? It's because of my 2 year old tyclone Tyler. Maybe next year we can get a normal sized tree.
Here is a pic of Tyler on one side and on the other is a top note die with the 5 reasons. I repeated this with the other 3 children and myself.

Here is cutie pie Lily.

The older children and myself wrote our reasons in our own handwriting for that personal touch.
This one of the last pictures in the book. I just love it. Lily is such a sweetie but Robert is looking at her so intently and just having fun making her laugh. I hope you enjoyed my book!

Now onto some other fun stuff, the candy for the day. Comment on this post to win this 6x6 Basic Grey paper pack Eva. I will select a winner and post next Wednesday. If you are a subscriber, you may comment a second time.

Love You much...again

Here is another Love You Much Bundle card. This was a thank you card for my kids to send to their grammy (aka my mom). I made a simple panel using riding hood red and candy cane lane dp and then made a small card and adhered it to the top. So easy and fun!

The winner of the key to my heart stamp set is Jill W. Please contact me with your information and I will get your stamp out to you. Thanks everyone for playing. I will have some more great candy on Friday!

Another Sneak Peek

I used the same layout for these cards as my Just Buzzin' By card. Instead, I used this Sweet stems stamp set which will be out in the new SU catalog and this thank you stamp set which is also new but found in the current catalog. I used Muirfield dp. I colored in the images with copics trying to match Pacific Point. Simple cards!

More Love You Much

Here is another card using all of the elements of the Love You Much Bundle. On this one, I used the punch and put some pretty Candy Cane Lane DP behind the punched hearts which I think makes it look cute. I think that this set and cards would look so cute with the riding hood red ribbon but I don't have it which is why you've been seeing pink ribbon!

The winners are...

Moni and Claudia. Please email me by the end of the weekend so that I can mail your package out. If you didn't win, don't worry I will have another great blog candy on Friday. I am going to try and go back to weekly drawings and I found an entire bag of wood mounted stamps in my closet that I will be giving away.

I haven't been doing very much creating but doing a lot of spring cleaning! My stamp area got out of control over the holidays so it's going to probably take me another week to get it cleaned up and organized again. Plus, I have been so tired that as soon as the babies go to bed, I follow shortly after. Then on the weekends it's been gorgeous here, 70's and 80's this week so I don't want to stay in and clean or stamp!

Also, I received the new catalog and couple of days ago and there are so many new and fun things in there! Anyway thank you all for sharing your comments and I will be back on Friday with more heart candy so see you then.

Just Buzzin' By

Here is a sneak peek of a super cute set coming out in the new catty. It's called Just Buzzin' By and the paper is Muirfield dp also from SU. I used my nestabilities for the oval and scalloped oval and colored in my images with my copics. How cute is this stamp set? I used it for thank you cards which I just discovered I haven't mailed yet! Yikes!

My niece is here!

I haven't loaded my pics yet but she came at 12:03am on Friday the 9th. She weighed 8 lbs, 14 oz (much bigger than my babies) and is 21 inches long. She looks like my sister!

I'll post a pic as soon as I have to load my pics. In the meantime, here is a card that I made using the Love You Much Bundle! Such a simple card but so much fun. I really like all of the stamps in this bundle and it would be great for scrapbooking, anniversary cards, friendship cards and more. The little birds in the stamp set can be used for everything!

Those who have pre-ordered cattys, my cattys are expected this week and will be mailed to you priority mail and will include a 5.00 off coupon to be used towards your saleabration order next month! I'll let you know when they get mailed officially.

Friend to Friend

Here is another card using the Valentine's bundle. It's very simple but I think a fun card to send to a friend.

I forgot to mention that I'm baby watch! My sister was due on the 7th and no baby yet! I am actually writing this a bit early and will have it on autopost in case she has the baby and I can't get to a computer. It's her first and will be a baby girl named Kayla! I hope she comes soon...

Don't forget about the blog candy in the post below and if you are a subscriber, go back and leave another comment!

New Year Heart Candy!

The first heart candy of the year is this wonderful SU 2009 calendar kit and ribbon sampler from the holiday mini catalog. I have two of these to give away. To win is simple just leave a comment on this post by next Tuesday and I will post the winner on Wednesday (the 14?). What is your New Year's resolutions or goals?

One of mine is to eat out less and cook more! With a full time job, my commute and 6 people to feed, I really get weary of cooking but it's super expensive to eat out. My two stepkids are teenagers and eat more than me so it's like feeding 4 adults! I already cook about 3-4 days a week as it is. I'm hoping to get some of the bigger people in our household to maybe help out once or twice a week in the kitchen! Another is to try and weed out some of my clutter! I've been inspired after watching the show Clean House! Now my house is nothing like that but I do have tons of clothes that I don't wear hanging in my closet among other things that we don't need, have two of or just plain don't use. I want to get current with some of my scrapbooking projects which will help me with my last goal, which is to do better using the supplies that I have, especially dp! Some of my scrapbooking buddies better watch out, because they might end up coming home to a surprise rak box of supplies!
And I even have a project to show you today! I used the SU Valentine's bundle to create this cute card. The heart stamp is from the Love You Much stamp set as is the heart stamp that I used for a background on the Pink Pirouette cardstock. The DP is Candy Cane Lane which also comes in the bundle. I used my SU punches and part of a sentiment stamp (just the thank you part!) and the ribbon is from my stash. I have a flyer on my blog, to the right. Click on it for more details. The Valentine's bundle is available for a limited time and you get these new products for 20% off. I am offering FREE SHIPPING on this bundle if you email me by January 29, 2009.

Also, have you pre-ordered your new catalog. It's due to come out on January 19. The cost is 5.50 but you will receive a coupon for $5.00 off your order during Sale-a-bration. I am giving huge discounts in addition to the free stamp sets you can earn during sale-a-bration so if you don't visit my blog often make sure that you sign up for my newsletter!

Last, but not least, the retired accessories list is out. This is your last chance to get these items before they disappear! The list can be found here.
SU is also offering a huge inventory sale! You can even get the Country Living promotion for half off! The information for this sale can be found here. To purchase these items, please visit my online stampin' up website for ordering.
