Trick or Treat!

Hi everyone! Today, I have a card that was kind of second best you know what I mean. I was supposed to make a card using googlie eyes and this card just didn't quite make the cut. I think that it's still cute and my kids would love it! I used the Mini Monsters cartridge and the Midnight Magic Reflections paper pad from Michaels.

Howdy do

Hi everyone, Today, I have a cute card that I cased from Mary over at CardzTV. She inspired me to use this cute scarecrow. Sometimes, I forget about some of the cute images there are on the cartridges that I own. Be sure to watch the video to get the recipe and see how it all gets put together.

 



This card reminds me that fall is finally here and I think that I am glad for a little cooler weather and the holidays. Last week, I had jury duty which was painful enough but on the way home some yahoo hit me from behind while we were stopped at a red light. Couple of minor scratches to my car but backaches and neck aches. People need to pay attention when they are driving. I am just glad that I didn't have my children in the car with me!

Hi everyone, Today, I have a cute card that I made for a challenge which was to make a project that sparkled. I didn't look very carefully at the due date which is after Halloween and the card that I made was a Halloween card. So I guess I will make another card for my challenge and post this one so that it can be enjoyed before Halloween! Totally Witchin' Bear

HI everyone!

My Cutters Creek Design Team post today is a fun (not scary!) Halloween card.

I used my Cricut cartridge Teddy Bear Parade. I used the Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells 6x6 paper pad for my background paper and the paper that I used for my teddy bear's clothes. I also used the new Tim Holtz glitter on the broom and the hat buckle. Be sure to visit the Cutter's Creek store to get any of the items that I used today.

Pool School Cricut Scrapbook Layout

Hi everyone, I have a scrapbook layout to share. My kids spent six weeks taking swim lessons and they did great! Lily went from not wanting to get her face wet to jumping off the high diving board. Tyler's backstroke is crazy amazing for a six year old! The video is a little bit scattered because I ran out of battery in the middle and got interrupted and so it's a little pieced together!

Casing the Cameo #3

Hi everyone, I am back with another card in my Casing the Cameo series. The card I was inspired by is from Luv Scrapping Together. Her card had a cute face and sunglasses. The sunglasses did not quite work on my makeover .

I used the Something to Celebrate cricut cartridge. I cut out the card shape and stitched in white. I cut the main image twice resizing the second image and then cutting away and trimming what I didn't need until I had a second smaller cloud which I propped up on foam tape. I used a cute Peachy Keen face and my d'vine swirls cuttlebug folder. The sentiment is from Pink by Design. I think that it turned out real cute!

Cri-ket Pens

Hi everyone,
The FCCB challenge for the week is to use a number or letter in a Cricut project. So easy! Our sponsor this week is Cri-ket pens. Be sure to check out the blog for ways to use these pens. My favorite way to use these pens is to use them with the Disney cartridges, especially the Toy Story cart and the Cars cart. Even cutting those at humongous sizes, they still have tiny pieces which are hard to cut and put together. For my project today, I made a birthday card for my little boy who is turning 7! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. He is so excited about his birthday. For his card. I used the pens to draw the car and then used my copics to color it in. The sentiment is from Animated Greetings from Pink by Design.

Casing the Cameo #2

Hi everyone, Today, I have another card in a little series that I am calling "Casing the Cameo." While a Cameo would be cool, I don't have the space for one, especially near my computer and I have a ton of money tied into my Cricut. I think that I can still make fantastic projects with it. When I see a project using the Cameo that I like, I have decided to give it a "Cricut" make over. The card that inspired my card today is from Houses Built of Cards. Her sun's rays were much longer than mine but I think that I did a good job.

 

My sun is I think from Everyday Pop Ups and I had to do a little trimming. I used buttons and a sentiment from Pink by Design and this cute Peachy Keen faces. I think that it has the same feel of the original.

Bohemian Bazaar Mini Album Tutorial

Hi everyone, Today, is my post for Cutters Creek. This week, I have a tutorial on how to make an envelope mini album using Bohemian Bazaar by Graphic 45. I bought my paper from Cutter's Creek in a pre-order. I also used Tattered Angels glimmer mist spray and paint (from a Tattered Angels paint club I am in through Cutter's Creek). I put the album together using Scor-tape. I hope that you all have time to watch the videos and make an album of your own!

Vinyl Project #2

Hi everyone,
I was lucky enough to receive some fun vinyl from Cricket Vinyl Supplies. The Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog team will be making projects using vinyl in fall colors for the FCCB Challenge on September 9. We encourage everyone to join in the challenge and Cricket Vinyl is giving all of my readers 15% off their order  so that everyone can join in.

 

I just love how it came out. I used canvas and painted it with black acrylic paint. I cut the lettering from Martha Stewart Birthday and my witch from Martha Stewart Seasonal and the circle moon is from Cricut Basics. The size of the canvas is 6x6. This was SUPER easy to make and it will look so cute decorating my house this Halloween. I hope that you all are prepared to join the FCCB Fall Vinyl challenge on September 9!
