Stop and Smell the Flowers

Hi everyone,

My card is simple and so fun. I used the hexagon plate from Paper Trey Ink and the coordinating stamp set. I used the plate to create a template and placed it over a blank piece of cardstock and then used the stamp set in difference shades of blue to create the pattern you see above. My flower is from  the Hello Kitty cartridge and the sentiment is also from Paper Trey Ink.

Exciting News

Hi everyone,
Before I share today's card with you, I just wanted to announce some very exciting news!!! I have been selected to be on the Fantabulous Cricut Design team! I am so excited to be able to share my love of crafting and the Cricut with more people. I am also taking over the Scrappin' Saturday segment and so my very first post will be tomorrow. I hope that you will find time to come over there to say hi.

Friends make life bearable

Hi everyone, Today, I have my post for the Just-a-scrappin challenge blog post. The challenge this week is to use a teddy bear that is NOT brown! I struggled a bit with the challenge, which is probabaly why it's called a challenge. In the end, I think my pink teddy came out very cute and exactly right! Welcome Home

Hi everyone, I have a fun card to share. I thought that I had made a video for it and I looked through a zillion files and couldn't find it! But here is the card:

 

The shaped card is from the Wild Card 2 cartridge and I used scraps for some of the layers, as well as different cuttlebug folders. The doorknob is a small brad. I think that it turned out cute!

Hi everyone, I have a fun card for you all.

 

I had so much making this card. I used the Cricut cartridges Create a Critter and Artiste as well as some Peach Keen Face stamps. The paper is from Echo Park and I used stickles and my white gel pen wherever I could.

What's cookin'

Hi everyone, I have a quick card to share for the Fantabulous Cricut challenge. The challenge was to do make a card using kitchen or cooking as the theme. So I used the oven for Wild Card 2. I used purple cardstock and designer paper from SU. My sentiment is from Pink by Design and I made my own flower embellishment using purple ruffled ribbon.

Happy Valentine's Day 2013

Hi everyone, Happy Valentine's Day! I am so proud of myself. I actually mailed 3 Valentine's cards to friends. I boxed another 3 cards to friends here at work and I set out 4 cards with treats for my family! It feels good to actually use what I make! Today, it's the Just-a-scrappin challenge day. The challenge this week is to make a Valentine's Day card but not to use the color red. So what to do? Use the next best thing, PINK! Also, you will start noticing little "pin it" buttons next to my projects so if you want to pin it, it's now super easy!

Bee Mine Card

Kids Valentines Card

HI everyone, I have a quick post today for a couple of challenges. For CardzTV, the challenge was to to create 3x3 kids Valentine's card and the Fantabulous Cricut challenge this week is to link up any Valentine's projects. I was hoping to do some crafting today...I had the day off and my kids still had school...but wouldn't you know it we had a power outage! The power eventually came back up and I had just enough time to make these cute little cards before I had to pick up my kids!

 

I used Create a Critter for the bee and the owl card and sweethearts for the puppy card. The cards are 3x3 and I used red cardstock and paper from the Love Story paper from Fancy Pants Designs. I used some stickles and sentiments from Pink by Design and My Pink Stamper.

Scrapbook Expo 2013 Haul

Hearts for You

Hi everyone, I have my project for this week's Just-a-scrappin blog challenge. The challenge this week is to use lots of hearts! I am also submitting this card for this week's Fantabulous Cricut challenge to use hearts and the Cardztv challenge to use hearts and a card feature on one of the Cricut cartridges.

 

 

My card and image were both cut from the Child's Year cartridge. They were cut at 3.9 inches. My paper is from Fancy Pants Designs. I used a small amount of doodling and some red stickles.

Smell the Flowers

Hi everyone, I've got a fun card to share with you all.

 

 

I made another card usind the hexagon plate and coordinating mini stamp set. This time I used different colors of blue. The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink and the flower is cut at 3.5 and is from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. I did a bit of doodling and some stickles. I think that it came out pretty. I think this is my new favorite thing. But I can't keep making my own background paper when I have tons of paper in my stash that needs to get used!
