Today's card is for this week's challenge on the Cricut Circle blog which was to use only the cartridges that came with our bug. So for this card I use Plantin Schoolbook for the words, tag and the apple. The die cut shape came from Accent essentials. I am really happy that this was the challenge because I discovered this top note shape on a cart that I had never really looked at. The ribbon is from my stash, leftover from my mini school book project. The dp is all from The Boyfriend paper pack from Cosmo Cricket. I added a tiny bit of doodling to my apple beause it looked so plain. Really the best part, was that I needed a get well card for a co-worker. It's really nice to be able to do a challenge and have it be practical. So the card is off in the mail! Very exciting.
Don't forget there is still time for my blog candy which can be found
here.

this is really nice. I need to make more of the get well soon and sympathy cards.
I love the little touches of white for the shadows on the apple.
Great card - bright and colourful - perfect for cheering someone up if they're not feeling too well.
