Hi everyone,
As many of you know, a zillion people at my work are having boy babies. Its a string of like 10 boy babies in a row. Don't drink the water at my work if you want to have a girl baby because it's not going to happen.
So I have had to make a lot of boy cards!
This is another non-Cricut card but I was in a hurry. The paper is My Mindy's Eye and the lace is from my stash, I think from a wedding project. Anyhow, the stamp and sentiment are both from Paper Trey Ink. I still have a few more boy cards to make before the end of the year. I do hope that we start having girls, I find making cards for them so much more fun!
Thanks for visiting.

A Cupcake kind of day
Hi everyone, I have a fun card for you all, an easle card. I used the tutorial at Splitcoaststampers and it was easy peasy. I have a design challenge coming up and so I think that I will make another one of these cards and do a tutorial. They are really fun. My card is for the Just-a-scrappin challenge blog. The challenge is to make an easle card.
The size of the card measures 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. I used paper from My Minds Eye. The cupcake was cut at 3.0 inches and is from the Smiley cards cartridge. I hid the face in Gypsy because I wanted to use my Peachy Keen stamps. I used my white gel pen on the eyes and cheeks. Instead of cutting out the sprinkles, I used rhinestones and pearls instead and I love it! The sentiments are from Pink by Design (Sweet) and the other is from My Favorite Things!
I had this card sitting up and on my desk all week because it made me happy!
Enjoy!

Bee You with The Stamps of Life
Hi everyone,
I have a project today with no Cricut! I know that you are all aghast but it does happen from time to time! I bought these super fun bee stamps from the Scrapbook Expo at The Stamps of Life booth. They have very cute stamp images and sentiments. I figured that I could use the sentiments with Cricut cuts but I had to use the little bee. This is a super easy card. I embossed the front of the card with my honeycomb embossing folder. I then used some scrap for a mat. I stamped the bee on some scrap paper and cut it out for a little paper piecing action. Tied some ribbon, stamped the sentiment on some scrap and cut it out and I was done.
So fun and so easy! I left the inside blank because I am not sure how I am going to use this card!
Thanks for visiting today and maybe get out some neglected stamps today and get inky!

Eat Drink and Be Irish
Hi everyone,
Welcome to my Just-a-scrappin' Challenge blog design post. The challenge this week is to create a masculine St. Patty's card and use brads. I pulled out my spring cards cartridge because all of my other St. Patty's day images seemed way too girly.
I think it came out nice and it was absolutely hands down the easiest card I made all month. It took longer to find the paper than it did to cut this out and assemble it! So if you're looking for quick and easy spring cards don't forget about this cartridge! Also, don't forget to visit Just-a-scrappin and join in the challenge!
Happy Day!

Good Luck at the end of the rainbow
To make this card, I ran my white card front through my cuttlebug using the argyle embossing folder. The mat is a tag from Once a Princess and the rainbow and pot of gold are from Create a Critter 2 cartridge. The sentiment is from an old SU stamp set.
What I like about this card is that it has the St Patty's vibe but I can use it for a variety of purposes because I don't really send St. Patrick's Day cards.
I hoped you liked my super easy card. Have a good day!

Luv Bug
Hi everyone,
Today, I have my post for this week's Just-a-scrappin challenge. The challenge this week is to use sewing and eyelets on a card. Now, I don't sew! If the kids have a stuffed animal that has an ouchie or a button needs putting on, my husband is the one who does it. But this week, I did some sewing.
I used the Love Story paper from Fancy Pants Designs. The lovebug is from Create a Critter. The heart was die cut from felt with a Sizzix die and I used some white embossing floss and a needle. I weaved some ribbon through two white eyelets. I guess this is a little late for Valentine's Day but I am happy that I was happy to meet this challenge.
I've been tired to craft lately...my son is in baseball and it takes up a lot of time. My son is a leftie and is playing first base and he is getting better every day so it's worth it, just tiring!

Stop and Smell the Flowers
Hi everyone,
My card is simple and so fun. I used the hexagon plate from Paper Trey Ink and the coordinating stamp set. I used the plate to create a template and placed it over a blank piece of cardstock and then used the stamp set in difference shades of blue to create the pattern you see above. My flower is from the Hello Kitty cartridge and the sentiment is also from Paper Trey Ink.
